@rrhoover Hi Ryan, thanks for your question! We're honoured that our product has caught your attention! The main difference from Krisp is that Krisp is the best noise filtering solution and noise filtering is their major feature. Whereas Purifier is a unified AI Assistant that has multiple features to make the meeting more comfortable. It not only filters the noise, but can also replace background with the virtual one already now! In the nearest future Purifier will expand its opportunities. For instance, the users will be able to show their slide presentations on the virtual background, record and store their meetings and do the tagging and automatic minutes taking. Our users will be able to use just one Purifier that will combine all useful functions in one assistant at once, instead of switching between different programs performing different functions.

Those virtual audio drivers can be whimsical. Have you tested it on M1?
@maxim4400 @eugenehp Unfortunately, our program will not work with M1. But our programing team in the next room are working on the neural net that will be working with M1.
@maxim4400 @eugenehp Eugene, there is an important update on your question. It is not working flawlessly with M1 yet. But the sound processing is working now already and our programing team are working on video capturing module.

@vasgo Thank you so much for your feedback and a great question! The neural network is integrated in the program and all the audio and video data is processed on your computer. All we do is collect impersonalized data, like the name of your processor, etc. The full list of the data we collect is described in the licence agreement that you will sign before you install the program. In a nutshell, Purifier does not store videos and minutes of the meeting, so we do not collect any personal data, everything you say or show in the video will stay on your computer.
Like the idea but the software didn't recognize all my microphone inputs and the virtual background quality was worse than what Zoom gives me already. Still, I suppose the ability to manage your background and audio across multiple meeting platforms is a nice thing to have
@jonbstrong Hello, Jonathan, thank you for your concrete feedback, it will allow us to improve the quality in the future. Regarding the quality of the background, we admit that it requires improvement. We know how to do it and we are currently working on it, but feel that it is important to get the hands-on experience with the life users already in this stage. The good thing is that it is already better than the one at Webex.

We, VisionSystems, the independent team with development offices in Russia, normally specialize in outsource ML developments. For some years we have been developing ML-based solutions for the top Russian companies.
🤫 Spoiler! Purifier's mission is to make online meetings more enjoyable by expanding their capabilities in any video conferencing software.
Some prehistory 🧭
The pandemic has also affected our company and many of our employees began to work from home. Of course, we were holding our meetings purely online, just like everyone else.
And these were the difficulties and limitations we have faced:
ー Employees are not always comfortable showing the place from which they call;
ー Online meetings sometimes get interfered with the background noises: a barking dog,
repairs from the neighbors, screams of children, and even the noise of a vacuum cleaner;
ー We weren’t able to settle with only one program with all necessary functions for online
meetings, since all our clients have different preferences for programs;
ー There were cases where a person had an unexpected meeting while being in a café and had
to postpone it due to the extraneous noises or an inappropriate background
After conducting a research 📖, we realized that many companies and people faced the same challenges and had to adapt to the new rules of work and remote communications. Someone is trying to solve this problem in their own way, someone is still struggling.
There are programs on the market that solve some of the issues:
ー Krisp is a program that filters extraneous noise.
ー XSplit is a program that allows you to change backgrounds through your webcam.
But there is no single, simple solution for all these issues at once. 🤔
About the project ☝️
As a result, we have created a program named Purifier. You can install it on your computer and use the sound filtering and background replacement functions in almost any video conferencing software that does not have these useful integrated functions.
It was a challenge for us to create a neural network that can change backgrounds and simultaneously enable us to filter unnecessary noise. Using our expertise in computer vision, it seems that we have managed to solve this difficult task that has cost some companies millions of dollars.
Even though the quality of some functions of our first version has still room for improvement, they have one game-changing advantage: you can apply them to those video conferencing programs that do not provide them initially.
What features will Purifier offer in the future? 🙌
The first version of the program offers only two core functions. Clearly, we are eager to add more of them in the next versions:
✓ Demonstration of slideshow presentations in place of the virtual background;
✓ Creating your unique virtual background and applying it at a click of a button;
✓ Drawing with gestures;
✓ Recording and storing the video records of the meetings;
✓ Tagging and minutes taking;
✓ AR Emoji;
The future Purifier: our vision and your feedback 🚀
We see Purifier as an Assistant that will combine a whole number of the most useful tools.
All you’ll need to do is to fine-tune the settings of Purifier once and you will be able to activate the noise filtering and change the background that will automatically adjust itself to the lighting in your room.
Should you decide to demonstrate the slides during your online meeting, they will conveniently replace the virtual background and you will be able to draw with gestures.
And if in a week you will feel the need to review some things from that meeting, the record, the minutes of the meeting and the tagging will be available any time.
Purifier can provide all that in almost any video conferencing program.

Please scroll down to the very bottom and you'll see the instruction and there is a script button that you can hit to run these steps automatically. Try doing this and please let us know if you will need any more help.

I've tried your app on my mac air 2013. It works pretty good, well done! The quality of virtual background isn't still on Zoom or Skype level, but noise cancellation surpasses all I've seen before! So keep going!
