I have been using Makerlog since launch as my daily driver to be more productive and ship some of my side projects. Being able to build in public and also see other makers working has helped a community come together.

Pros:

New clean design, works better on mobile now!

New stats + Maker Score really useful!

Can be more productive with the new App marketplace.

Cons:

No cons

Glad you like it, Nick!!

Just thought that PH Maker spaces should be something like that. Sergio that is nice place to be. How about webcam streaming 😉 ?
Sergio Mattei
@vladkorobov There's an upcoming integration that will handle this!
Paul Anderie
Wow, didn't know that there are so many communities around launching new products/ startups. Love the straight forward approach. Isn't also @producthunt also implementing more features like makerlog?
Sergio Mattei
@producthunt @paulanderie Hi! Yes, indeed, Product Hunt Makers is quite interesting - although PH's approach is radically different as Makerlog is more of a daily thing. :)
Sergio Mattei
Hey there Product Hunt! 👋

After months of work, I'm proud to announce the launch of a completely redesigned & reimagined Makerlog!

Makerlog is a dead-simple task log for makers. ✅
After you complete tasks, log them on Makerlog and we'll give you useful stats like 📈 activity graphs and a 🔥 streak to keep you motivated.

We've grown to a community of over 1.5k makers shipping products and some with 100+ day streaks logging on the daily. 🚀

Here's some new key features & reimagined old ones:

An all-new design ✨: I've listened to our growing community and spent months crafting a beautiful new design! It was mostly shipped while livestreaming and taking ideas from users like you.
Better stats 🏁: Now with awesome GitHub-like contribution graphs and an all new Maker Score, Makerlog keeps track of how productive you are and keeps you that way!
App market ⚡️: An all new way to discover community creations and integrations to keep that streak going 🔥 Connect Makerlog with Google Assistant, Todoist, Trello, and more!

Let's enter 2019 with a (rather productive) bang! 🎉

Go join Makerlog today and start shipping products daily 🔥

@ftxrx PS! What are using for Twitter streaming?
Graeme
@ftxrc congrats, nice upgrades on small things too, like the changes in 'click to praise' button state! 👌
Sergio Mattei
@ftxrx @zaheerbaloch I'm using TweetDeck to tweet!

@frcbls Thanks!

Hey, some feedback: on my 10 inch iPad the makerlog logo overlaps with the explore on the nav bar...
Sergio Mattei
@anna_0x Woah, you're right! Thanks for the feedback - please add it to bugs.getmakerlog.com so I don't forget! :)
Anna Filou
@ftxrc I didn't know you have a form! by the way, is a mobile-friendlier website in the works? It's nearly impossible to use on a phone. It's not a big con since most people use it from a computer, but it'd be nice! I appreciate the existence of this site, don't want to sound greedy!
Joel Benjamin

It's good :D

Pros:

This update has tons of new stuff. I haven't really tried makerlog since december but I hope to use it again.

Cons:

Not that I know of

Nic Coates
Huge congrats @ftxrc! Makerlog has been my daily driver for productivity since you launched version 1. This update is clearly the next evolution, especially with the stats and App marketplace!! 👍🎉🚀

@gadgick Thanks so much!

In a world full of fast paced tech and ideas, makerlog helps you stay grounded and focus on the tasks at hand. Couldn't have been more proud about Sergio and his daily hustle. If you really want to see what a product is made of, don't look at the product but instead have a peek at the maker/s behind it. Sergio is a student, he live streams, he codes all night, he contributes to the maker community, he's humble AF and he plays hard. Super happy that this update is live! Keep up the hustle, hustlaaaahh 😎
Sergio Mattei
@dinuka_jayasuriya Thank you for the kind words Dinuka! Couldn't have reached this milestone without the Makers Kitchen! 🚀🔥

Wanted to drop in here and say that Makerlog is like my favorite product in the world. Makerlog keeps me focused and shipping - there is nothing else like it - I love logging my tasks with the Makerlog Menubar and feeling productive as hell! Sergio is low key killing it here. Makerlog is going to be the "Github for entrepreneurs" one day - it is absolutely changing the game! Congrats on the launch and can't wait to post 1000 gifs.
Sergio Mattei
@thepatwalls Thanks for the kind words Pat! 🔥 Ship ship ship ✨

Congratulations on the launch Sergio!! 😄 Makerlog is such an awesome product, it's kept me productive since something like July 2018, and between then and now I've missed only 1 day - a testament to how well Makerlog keeps you focussed and ticking off tasks. This 2.0 release looks amazing. Sergio's always so responsive to any sort of feedback, so you know this redesign/rebuild is driven by listening to his users, and having their interests as priority. Loving all of this, can't wait to keep using this new version 👏🎉
Sergio Mattei
@jamesdaly90 Thank you James! You've been there supporting Makerlog since the beginning - really appreciate it!

I've been using Makerlog since I discovered it, and it has changed the way I track and log my progress. Streaks, stats, comments, discussions... it has it all!

Makerlog has kept me motivated even through the toughest days, and the community behind it has helped me with code, design and even with personal recommendations in real life!

Thank you Sergio!

Pros:

Easiest possible way to track your progress. Compared to last version, this one brings way more focus on the (best) community!

Cons:

None

I started using Makerlog in August or so and I've loved it from the beginning! The community you've grown, Sergio, has helped me in so many ways as I got my foot into the door learning how to code. It's also allowed me to surround myself with others who are passionate about creating and it's very motivating. Can't wait to see everyone's and Makerlog's growth in 2019!
Sergio Mattei
@diannamallen Thanks!!!
Henning Leutz

I've been in this community for almost a month now. this has pushed me so much to create things and to get stuff done. Thank you! If you want to get motivation to create things, sign up and share your progress!

Pros:

awesome new features, great community, getting better day by day

Cons:

sometimes a little slow but it gets better every day!!

I've been using Makerlog for 2 months now. It made me publicly accountable, which turned into 3 products released in a span of 2 months.

Props to the maker @matteing for allowing me to pull of this fit, and happy to be part of this great community.

Pros:

Released 3 products thanks to Makerlog, the maker uses it himself, great community

Cons:

None, it gets better every day
