Ludus for Teams is the best way to make presentations together.

Typically a few options already available from most of the online presentation tools but it's also what makes Ludus different from the mass. They're challenging features and roll out basic stuff along the way.

Pros:

It's effectively challenging the dying industry of online presentations and offering long awaited options to every one of us

Cons:

There are still a few tweaks to be done on some core functionalities but it's getting there.

I love how everything Ludus do has so much polish and love poured into it. Congrats on the launch here, excited to see where the team take this πŸ™Œ

Very sleek. I'll use this in the future. The logo reminds me of the Zendesk products.
Lionel Cordier
@gregjwww Thanks Greg! Please don't hesitate to try and share your feedback :-)

I love Ludus. I use it for presentations which I have to give on the fly, because they all live in the cloud and I can present them anywhere I can get to a web browser. Genius.

Pros:

Fast, clever and browser-based so I can take it anywhere

Cons:

Not all the features from the promo video are yet in place, and mobile/touch support is a little wonky, occasionally.

Great product!

Thanks for the hunt Kevin :) My name is Vincent Battaglia and I’m a Co-Founder and CTO at Ludus. We launched our private beta a few months ago (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) and got a lot of interest and traction thanks to you guys, aka the amazing Product Hunt community! Today, we are proud to announce that the product is now open to the public and that our collaboration features are now available! Ludus is not a solitary pleasure anymore. Everything is explained in details in this Medium article: https://blog.ludus.one/introduci... Important: you can use the promo code KITTYMEOW to get 3 months for free (or 50% off of the first year if you choose the yearly plan). And if you tried Ludus back in May and never came back ever since, in addition to making the product faster and more stable, here are a few features we added during that time: * Transitions * PDF export * Groups * SoundCloud, CloudApp, Typeform, Noun Project, Figma and Google Fonts integrations * GIPHY, Unsplash & Icons8 search * Lines and arrows * Password protection * Custom URL We hope you and your team will be delighted by all these new things, and happy Thanksgiving in advance!

@vinch As more and more companies turn to remote working this is going to make so many people's lives easier πŸ™‚

i was really excited to do collaboration in ludus, but the implementation is just wrong. A lot of times, probably 50% of the time, collaboration tools are used with clients. Clients want the ability to edit a document, specially presentations. They just like to have that power. In the team plan, you can't invite a client to edit because they can see all your other presentations in the dashboard. What happened to simple collaboration? Just share a document with whomever you want and let them edit. All cloud collaboration tools work like this: prezi, dropbox paper, google docs, etc. The price is also terrible. You are making collaboration only available to big teams. Make the Pro plan collaboration friendly and let the user invite as many people as he/she wants to edit a single presentation, without access to your other documents. With so many great collaboration examples right now, this is such a downer. the video is not even showing how collaboration looks. Do you see a user's avatar when he is editing the presentation? do you know what slide he's in like you do in Prezi, Dropbox Paper or Keynote? does it update automatically or do you get a notification when an update has been made?
Vincent Battaglia
@walofenton Thanks for the feedback Walo. The collaboration features we released today are just a first step and more is coming in the next few weeks/months. Most of the things you suggest are actually already in our roadmap but don't forget that we are only 6 months old and that Rome hasn't been built in one day.

Simple fast and power full tool.

Pros:

It's easy to use and difficult to build bad graphics quality

Cons:

No desktop version...

Liza Schwartz
cool video
Scott Bowler

Created a 14 slide presentation with a mixture of vectors (Noun Project), images (Unsplash), video (mp4 upload) and a custom font (TTF). Putting the slides together was easy, but I really miss features such as image cropping and transitions on individual elements.

Having said, I can safely say I'll be using this over Powerpoint from here on out in the hope that these small UX improvements are put in place.

Pros:

Very easy to add assets from all over the web

Cons:

Lacking in a few key features that Powerpoint offers (e.g. image cropping)

Lionel Cordier
Thanks Scott! Cropping is in progress! We'll make it as fast as possible, but also as good as possible :-)
Vincent Battaglia
Yeah, as @lionel_cordier said, you won't have to wait for too long to have all these things.
Jim Knutt
Great product, super impactful for multi-location teams!
Eric Darchis

The tool is intuitive, powerful and the teams feature is really making a huge improvement in the segment. Powerpoint has been dead for a long time but its zombie was still haunting us. Not anymore

Pros:

Innovation in presentations, at last !

Cons:

None

Daniel Alles

I really liked the nice feeling and the experiences only from the tutorial

Pros:

It is really professional

Cons:

I think theris no point to critisize
