Posting your startup to directories and subreddits is one of the easiest ways to get backlinks. We’ve taken the liberty of organizing these into a list sorted by domain and page authority for all the websites. We hope you find this list useful!
Signed up but didn't get any email. But also, is it really that important to hide everything behind the email wall so people can only get the product after trading their emails?
I believe if the product is good, people will be willing to follow you. But if not, capturing emails this way is really shady IMHO.
@adamleo Check your spam folder and if that doesn't work intercom us or email me at support@loopinput.com and we'll send you a backup copy from a different domain
Awesome work @cody_loop 🔥I've started a list like this several times and it takes so much time. Thanks for putting in the effort and sharing with the community!
@mattcrail Thanks, yes it does take a long time but seeing that people are using it and finding it useful makes it all worth it, thanks for your support!
@benuuts From the introduction:
"There is an amazing, actively maintained open-source list of the top 140 places to post your startup here:
https://github.com/mmccaff/Place...
We’ve taken the liberty of organizing these into a list sorted by domain and page authority for all the websites and number of users for the subreddits. We’ve also scrubbed the list to fix all broken and outdated links as well as adding some of our own. We hope you find this list useful!"
It is not the same list, the original (which we contributed to by the way) has been completely changed and updated with many of the links being replaced, everything formatted and sorted, da and pa listed, etc.
The only reason you guys know about the original is because we clearly link it in the introduction... but yes feel free to check out the original list we linked it for a reason it is also a great resource.

I'm pretty sure that's not _the only_ reason, I've never read the introduction. But hey, that's your hustle. Thanks.
@stas_kulesh I may have misphrased that but my meaning was that I don't think people should be punished for giving a shout out to the original inspiration when, not only did they contribute to it, but the new version is a completely different list with different content and format and new features. It's so rare for people to "cite their sources" on the internet and give shout outs to the original creators of something they make a derivative or updated version of and now I see why that's the case.
Available for free in an open sourced repository yet create a landing page and ask people to sign up to see it. Great.
I signed up only to report it as spam later. "Products" like this should be flagged.
@ziggycrane Hi Ziggy, I just checked and I can confirm we sent it to your email. I believe it may be in your spam folder. Just in case, I sent you a backup email from a different URL please let me know if you got it.
biggest challenge with these "huge" lists is that it's really hard to maintain quality in the list. IMO it's not about volume, it's about finding the high quality outlets that are relevant to the business.
