We needed a place for everything we want to remember that’s not quite Insta-worthy. LOKI is the easiest way to record 10 seconds daily. Each year we’ll give you a movie of your life you can edit & enjoy forever. Let others see your real life through your eyes & all the moments, stories, & more that would otherwise be lost. We dislike the Like system so we replaced it with a virtual (in-app) currency. Get coins to “Boost” / support your friends, favorite creators, & content. Boosting is also a new way to collect & trade with friends for fun. We have a one post daily limit with a maximum length of 60 seconds. There is no algorithm on the friends’ feed. The idea of using a finite amount of coins to Boost instead of having unlimited Likes is interesting. It seems like resulting values from the Boost system more meaningful & encourages more quality content.

I have spent almost al my coins on Maroon 5 songs 😂 It’s very nice that I also see one of my friends’ songs on the app. He is a growing artist so I bet he’s gonna enjoy knowing he can get more exposure from Loki

The vast majority of video I capture is left off of social media for reasons you mentioned among others. A lot of my video has either been lost or scattered on different hard drives so unfortunately I’ve lost a ton of great memories so this solves a real problem for me.

Love the boost feature!! I can own all my favorite songs and artists which really hits all my collecting needs😂. Also love the fact you can only post one video per day, makes me really eager to see what my favorite content creator has in store for me tomorrow 🥺🙏

@andrei_bus Thank you! Glad to see you found the music boosting feature! We added artists and songs as sort of digital trading cards that can be supported / boosted up the charts. Boosting is also a way to collect and trade your favorite creators and content. Enjoy!

The pressure of posting on Instagram is too high and you end up with overly curated highlight reels. People end up posting less. LOKI seems to have a more casual culture & community & I’ve been recording & sharing more video because of it.

Is the website a placeholder more than a working website? None of the links work except to get on the homepage. And the Apple version of the app is not available in the UK it would seem. Is it currently limited to a particular geographic location for now?

@ryan23loki looks very interesting. I use Insta story highlights to pretty much get the same thing done and realised how beautiful a year's worth of extremely regular day to day moments could be... Will definitely try this out :)

@bscheltzke We're in the same broader short, mobile video space. However, TT is known for dancing while we are focused on the authentic life journey. That said, LOKI users love to show off their dance videos on LOKI as you can add music to your short videos!
