Hey PH fam!
Super excited to hunt Lloyd! Lloyd is a sister / brother founding team that is empowering young professionals to lead a meaningful career. Our careers often define many aspects of our lives, yet we are left with endless blog posts and an array of self-help books to figure out what this whole career thing is for us as an individual.
Enter Lloyd, which brings a human touch to careers alongside a suite of digital products. The founding team has spent over 600 hours working directly with individuals just like yourself to build all of these key learnings into what is the Lloyd product today. Give it a try and schedule a time to chat with your personal co-pilot.
Oh, in case you were wondering, Lloyd is the price of a pair of socks. So what are you waiting for? 🚀
@felix12777 Thank you for hunting Lloyd! At Lloyd, we focus on empowering young professionals to lead a meaningful career and are excited to be launching on Product Hunt Today.
@jdgusz Congratulations on the launch!
Loyd could be solving this problem - 'Tracking micro changes related to my career' posted on my problem validation platform - https://needgap.com/problems/45-... .
If so you're welcomed to explain how Loyd solves their problem, So those who need it can find it easily.
@heavyinfo thanks for this feedback. This is certainly on our roadmap. As an example, we try to engage with each member about once a week to have them set their intentions for the week en route to their goals. I'd love for you to check out the dashboard (http://app.withlloyd.com/) and provide feedback on how we can better achieve this important goal!
I love the idea of this app! Helping people figure out how to bridge the gap from where they are and where they want to go in their career is great. It's the milestones that stump most of us. Can't wait to give this a spin!
Big fan of this. So many people are basically left to figure all of this out on their own... which is silly since there are actual economies of scale from having a single central source who has seen the different paths and can make sense of all the learnings.
I've partnered closely with Dan and Nikki and what they are building at Lloyd is much needed in the marketplace. Wishing the team lots of success on launch day!
@drdfernandes@jdgusz for real. I only wish I’d had this earlier in my career - I would have followed the heard less and spent more time doing the work I love and using my key strengths. Thanks for helping the next generation of professionals get there a decade earlier, team! What a great goal, team... and Product! :)
I'm a huge fan of Lloyd. Building a career path has never been so complex and interesting, with so many possible options and changes over a lifetime. If you want to be a star athlete, you have a coach. If you want to be a star in your career, why wouldn't you have the same?
I'm so excited for what Lloyd is building with an easy-to use platform with coaching support to bring clarity and confidence to the career navigation process.
What an amazing product - to support folks navigating their careers in a strange time like 2020.
The founding team has experience across so many geographies and sectors they are perfectly suited to building the network and infrastructure needed. They have built an extremely powerful tool to leverage technology to partner with their clients, while also maintaining the 1:1 personal attention that is needed in helping support career (and life) decisions.
@zachary_bucheister Thanks Zach - appreciate the kind words. Like you said, our approach is to provide support for our members with both technology and a human co-pilot.
There is a value to 1-1 coaching that I didn’t recognize until I tried Lloyd. While it sound intuitive, the reality is that I have spent countless hours wandering lost in developing my career trajectory. They have made mentorship and guidance better through their dashboards. The insights provided have impressed me and they have won a loyal customer!
Lloyd is building a service in a space that has been desperately needed: career counsel & accountability services that live between the once a month or once a quarter expensive 1:1 career coach and the daily or weekly complaint sessions with your work spouse. I personally have used Lloyd co-pilots as a consistent sounding board week over week in sessions that hold me to accountable on my short-term and long-term career goals.
I truly appreciate the 1on1 time with Dan @jdgusz with the clear direction, distinct action items and consistent accountability. If you need a platform where peer meets professional to advance your career, I recommend Lloyd to the highest extent.
Lloyd helped me navigate a critical career decision for my greater professional arc, in an incredibly tight timeframe. Business school career center filled this year, but it's not as easy to get their attention now that I've graduated! I'll continue to need this service for longer term career planning and in the moment feedback.
As someone who switched careers from government to the private sector, I can appreciate the challenge of navigating a career switch. This is a useful product, with a good founding team.
I'm so grateful for Lloyd. My coach has guided me in thinking through where I can have the most impact, find the most joy, and do the good I want to do. Lloyd has helped me both in picking up the small, practical skills needed in a job hunt and with thoughtful, big-picture advice with how to direct my career. As someone in the non-profit world, paying for a personal career coach seemed like a luxury I couldn't have afforded. But, because of Lloyd, I would now encourage almost anyone to make the really small financial investment in Lloyd's services that have provided me with invaluable guidance, empathetic support, and great peace of mind.
Lloyd has been incredibly helpful to me in these past few months. For young professionals especially, stepping out into the recruiting world, without your college career center's support, WHILE often working a full time job, can be super daunting. Having someone in your corner to guide you through this process is honestly life-saving!
