Can your system also take e-mails (e.g. support@yourbusiness.com) ?
Agnieszka
@amyers @yourbusiness Yup, we have built-in ticketing system. All the emails for example from a contact form, sent to some email address etc. can appear as new tickets.

Hi guys, Here's Agnieszka, I work at LiveChat and I'm also a heavy user of Product Hunt. More than happy to finally share our tool with all the hunters! First things first - there's a 30% discount for the first payment for the Product Hunt users! More about the product: LiveChat is a widely used live chat (no surprises here, huh?:)) and help desk system. Long story short: it allows customer service agents to contact customers directly on their website. LiveChat has also a built-in ticketing system which helps you handle all the communication with your customers from our platform. What's more you can also use it for sales - you don't have to wait for your customers to start a chat with you, but start it proactively. If you have any questions about it don't hesitate to ask! We keep developing the product so every suggestion will be warmly welcomed ;) Cheers! Agnieszka

How does it compare to @Drift ? I'd love to see some side-by-side comparison of automation features!
Agnieszka
@szperlinski Hi! Let me dig a bit deeper into Drift's features and I'll go back to you with an answer ;)
Agnieszka
@szperlinski Coming back with the answer:) LiveChat is focused on real time communication while Drift is more like an universal ecommerce platform with chatbots. LiveChat has features that can speed up the communication process, for example canned responses (pre-made answer to a popular question). When it comes to automation we also offer the "proactive chats" feature, which means that invitations to chat show up automatically when a user takes a certain action.

Love LiveChat for its simplicity, easy integration and customer support 👍

Pros:

simple and straightforward tutorial, multiple integrations, great for e-commmerce businesses.

Cons:

quite pricy app

It is a solid product but one thing (quite silly in my opinion) makes it quite useless in our case.

If a visitor does not provide his details the at the beginning (they call it pre-chat survey) you can not add those details (email, name) afterwards.

You can have a 2 hours chat session with a visitor but visitor will stay as unknown since you can not add the information you gathered during the chat session. How st..id is that?

Pros:

Lots of integration with other channels

Cons:

If a visitor does not provide his contact at the beginning you can not add them afterwards.

Hi Kaan! Agnieszka from LiveChat here :) I just wanted to let you know that we have it on our to-do list and I'll let you know as soon as it's ready

There is also a workaround as you can use the Pipedrive integration to do it: https://www.livechatinc.com/mark...

I'm a fan of online tools and I want to have my chat integrated into many other products I'm using. Live Chat has all I need in stock. It is the only platform which will provide full integration with e-commerce platforms like WIX or Shopify or cloud storage like Dropbox. Always happy to recommend LiveChat at picksaas.

It's nice that you offer this policy-making service for free, but it's unfortunate that you've forgotten that there are 194 countries in the world other than the USA. By requiring the input of a Federal Trade Commission number (presumably something only used in the USA) you've indicated that your service is available only to Americans. So why not state that at the outset?

Is there some sort of rough estimation of the volume of chats to expect? Since it's easier than contacting support through other methods, I assume it is a multiple of the general support contacts. Perhaps 2-3x the normal CS contacts?
