Wow. That's a cool idea. It's pretty convenient for a foreign client to translate either he or I messages without leaving the messenger.

This makes too much sense with the global interconnectivity - this could bring people closer than ever with reducing the language barrier too now (especially since universal languages aren't adapting as quickly).
I need to buy a separate subscription if I already have the annual subscription to the Desktop translator?

Why it's better than other free Slack bots? Or better than those ones, that use Google or Yandex API?

The free apps can't translate high volumes of text, because the existing APIs (Google, Yandex, еtc) are very expensive. And not every team can create a high-quality Neural Translation Engine on their own. But we did. That's why we can offer our users cheaper translation with the same quality.
Also, our app can translate not only the text but also documents, websites, recognize and translate images, that other apps for Slack can't.

I like the idea! Especially considering that I have Italians, Russians and Americans in my team. But it's awkward that all the channel members can see the translation, instead of only one person who needed it.

I think that using a country flag is not a good idea. Language is not a country. Except for Spain, Spanish is spoken by almost all of South America. Look how it did on Google.
What are the limits for Translated characters and Number of requests in paid subscription?
@timgutzwiller Hi Tim! Thanks for your question! With Paid Subscription you will have no limits for the number of translation requests and the number of characters. This applies to all types of translations: chats, text, documents, image recognition.
