👋 Hey Product Hunt! Asen here, from the PolygrAI team. We’re a bunch of computer vision and ML nerds who got tired of AI chatbots that only analyze words.

The truth isn't just in what people say, it's in how they say it. Yet, every crucial conversation—from a final-round interview to a major insurance claim—relies on gut-feel.

So we built PolygrAI, an AI-powered polygraph that sees and hears what other platforms can't. Think of it as a truth analysis layer for any high-stakes conversation. Our engine analyzes:

  • 👁️ Visual Cues: Micro-expressions and subtle body language.

  • 🗣️ Vocal Patterns: Changes in tone, pitch, and vocal stress.

  • 💬 Linguistic Analysis: Verbiage and statement consistency.

  • 💡 Psychological Indicators: Based on established behavioral research.

Here's how it's different:

  • Goes beyond words: PolygrAI analyzes video, voice, and language for hundreds of behavioral indicators—from micro-expressions to vocal stress—that humans miss.

  • An objective second opinion: It turns complex human behavior into a simple, data-backed "Trust Score" to flag inconsistencies for expert review.

  • More than just hiring: Secure your insurance claims, loan applications, background checks, and recurring security assessments.

  • Real science, not just a wrapper: Our engine is built on years of peer-reviewed research in computer vision, behavioral science, and machine learning.

This is a purpose-built system designed to provide an objective "Trust Score," helping you flag cases for deeper review in hiring, claims, security checks, and more. Our mission is to make truth scalable.

Grayson Parker

@asenlvThis is really intriguing but how do you tackle issues related to bias and privacy when you're analyzing such personal behavioral signals?

Viktorio Shopov

@asenlv  @grayson_parker2  We comply fully with GDPR and all privacy laws. We never train on customer videos, our models use only pre-labelled research data. Every session is encrypted, used solely for that analysis, and deleted afterward. The AI learns each person’s own baseline to avoid one-size-fits-all judgments and runs continuous fairness checks to catch bias.

Rohan Chaubey

@asenlv PolygrAI stands out in a crowded AI space because it tackles the hard part which is understanding human behavior.

While others do transcripts and keywords, PolygrAI decodes how something is said not just what is said. The Psychological Profiling is the best part!

Viktorio Shopov

@asenlv  @rohanrecommends That's exactly where our advantage is , thanks Rohan!

Viktorio Shopov

Hey, Hunters! I’m Viktorio, co-founder of PolygrAI here. Thanks so much for your support! I’m around to answer any questions you have about our creation. 😊

Konstantin Hadzhiiliev

Hello, hunters! Konstantin here from the PolygrAI tech team.

From the beginning, we knew this wouldn’t be your typical SaaS app. Building a system with true multi-modality while keeping it performant was a major technical challenge.

On the frontend, our priority was delivering a smooth, intuitive experience - despite the heavy lifting happening behind the scenes.

On the backend, we built a custom pipeline to ingest multimodal data, process it efficiently, and return results using state-of-the-art optimizations.

Vidko Dzhigrov

Hey team,

Product looks awesome, the demo really impressed me.

Congrats on the launch!

Viktorio Shopov

@vidko_dzhigrov Thanks so much!

Let me know how your experience is with PolygrAI when you get the chance to try it out!

Asen

@vidko_dzhigrov Thank you, Vidko!

Elias Leo

The technology is impressive but I’d really appreciate seeing some real world examples or dashboards. A few visual case studies could help users understand the impact more clearly.

Viktorio Shopov

@elias_leo1 Hey Elias,

We’ve published many blogs and use cases detailing real world results. One of our customers is a large South American financial institution with over 1,000 employees that runs every loan‐applicant interview through PolygrAI. The system captures facial micro-expressions, subtle voice stress cues, and linguistic markers from the very first question. High-risk statements are flagged instantly, allowing underwriters to focus follow-up questions where they matter most. This targeted screening process has streamlined their workflow, cut down on manual review time, and driven a noticeable drop in both loan defaults and fraudulent applications.

Mark Leo

@asenlv Do you provide any APIs for third party developers looking to integrate PolygrAI’s analysis into their own platforms?

Viktorio Shopov

@mark_leo3 Hey Mark,

Yes our public API launches next week. Full details and documentation is available on our website.

Sadie Scott

Is it currently available for small and mediumsized businesses

or

is it just for enterprises at this point?

Viktorio Shopov

@sadie_scott Hey Sadie,

We’re available for both B2C and B2B of any size. Our subscription models cover every need a person or a business might have. We also offer a free trial so you can see how it works before you scale: https://polygr.ai/pricing/

Cheers!

Grayson Parker

How do you tackle potential biases when dealing with psychological and linguistic indicators especially across various cultures or dialects?

Viktorio Shopov

@grayson_parker2 Hey Grayson,

Great question! We start by training on diverse, consented datasets from many cultures and dialects. Then our system learns each person’s own “baseline” so it compares them only to themselves, not a one-size-fits-all standard. We also include local language models and work with cultural experts to fine-tune our indicators. Finally, we run regular fairness audits to catch and correct any emerging biases.

Cheers!

Jude Gray

This is absolutely brilliant. Are your insights purely AI-generated or do they include a human in the loop system for verification in sensitive industries?

Viktorio Shopov

@jude_gray Hey,

Our deeptech AI Engine is doing all the analysis. There is no manual work involved.

Donald Leo

This is like a groundbreaking moment for decision intelligence. Which industries are benefiting the most from your technology?

Viktorio Shopov

@donald_leo Hello Leo,

There is quite a lot of industries which benefit from our technology. We have the most active clients from banking and credit assessment industry. People use our software to assess videos and interviews to flag potential people who might default or not pay their loans beforehand.

Thanks!

Paul Leo

I love the combination of psychological and linguistic insights. Are these methods being applied in hiring processes or mental health evaluations yet?

Viktorio Shopov

@paul_leo2 Hey,

They’re already in use for hiring, underwriting and security checks across recruitment, banking, insurance and KYC workflows. We offer detailed psychological analysis including MBTI personality types, attachment style, light versus dark triad measures and other personality traits. While we don’t provide clinical mental health diagnoses, our insights can highlight stress or engagement patterns to guide more informed follow-up.

Mateo Leo

Can PolygrAI’s system adjust in real time to streaming inputs like video calls, or is the analysis only available after the event?

Viktorio Shopov

@mateo_leo Hi,

Right now PolygrAI works with interviews you set up in our web app- you add questions, AI criteria and recipients, participants record their answers, and then we deliver the analysis. Soon we’ll add live meeting support so the software can join your calls, record them and provide the same deep insights afterward.

Lucas Edwards

Visual, audio and language signals what a fantastic blend. How do you tackle bias or subjectivity when interpreting these signals?

Viktorio Shopov

@lucas_edwards1 Hi,

Our trained AI engine uses neural networks and computer vision to learn each individual’s own baseline, not a one-size-fits-all. We train exclusively on labeled research data and run continuous fairness diagnostics to detect and correct any bias.

Renee Gunter

With such a diverse AI approach how do you make sure the psychological insights stay ethical and scientifically sound across different use cases?

Viktorio Shopov

@reneegunter Hi,

We train only on labeled research data using validated psychometric scales and rigorous cross-validation. The system learns each person’s baseline, runs continual fairness diagnostics, and keeps all data encrypted and private.

Vito

Hazel Joy

The fusion of AI and psychology is such a compelling combination. How accessible are the insights for users who aren’t technically savvy?

Viktorio Shopov

@hazel_joy Hey Hazel,

All data appears in clear dashboards with simple summaries and visual highlights, so anyone, technical or not, can quickly understand and act on the insights. We have explanations for each data to help people understand the data and guide then towards better understanding of the person they are analysing.
