Letterpad is an open source blogging platform for independent authors. You can customise your homepage or create pages with special layout building blocks. You can also map a custom domain with one click. And it's all free.

Hi Everyone! I am the creator of Letterpad and I am super excited to introduce Letterpad, a blogging platform built on cutting edge technologies which is why it run ridiculous fast. The main reason for building Letterpad was that I didn't like other platforms, either they were slow, or expensive or I cannot map my custom domain or not good for technical blogs. Having an AI powered distraction free editor which is both RichText and Markdown was also something that I wanted. I made a ton of changes to the platform with all the feedbacks that I have received so far and have been super busy preparing for this launch. Especially the feature Creatives which allows you to build your page with a set of tools. It's an open source project and I would like to thank every one of those who contributed in some way or the other. Looks awesome, and i like the comparison between medium and Ghost. I'm thinking about something like this for when i want to start a blog besides my Trello newsletter. I've saved this so i remember to look at it then! Congrats on the launch!

Looks cool. Is it SEO-friendly btw? Robots.txt/Sitemap/individual page and post's Meta Title/Description and OG image - if these are already built into it - I might start this as my next blogging platform!
