How Customer Feedback Helped Me Build a Better Developer Tool π
Building LetMeCheck.ai has been a wild solo journey β but one thing became clear early on: real user feedback is worth more than any feature I could dream up in isolation.
After launching my MVP, a few early adopters reached out with honest feedback β about login friction, scan failures, and the need for multi-repo support. Some bugs hurt. But each one helped me dig deeper, refactor code, and rethink the UX.
Hereβs whatβs changed:
β Removed email sign-up β connect directly with GitHub
β Support for scanning multiple repos under one GitHub account
β Improved error handling + added a backend queue (so you get your scan results even if things go down)
β Email notification once scan is ready
β Introduced a badge system to validate good coding practices (because devs deserve recognition)
Still in progress:
π Better explanations for each issue
π€ AI prompts to help you fix problems faster
This journey reminded me: when you listen, you build better. And Iβm still listening.
If youβre a developer, founder, or agency and want to validate your code quality, Iβd love your feedback too:
Letβs keep building tools that respect the craft. π»π
