How Customer Feedback Helped Me Build a Better Developer Tool ๐
Building LetMeCheck.ai has been a wild solo journey โ but one thing became clear early on: real user feedback is worth more than any feature I could dream up in isolation.
After launching my MVP, a few early adopters reached out with honest feedback โ about login friction, scan failures, and the need for multi-repo support. Some bugs hurt. But each one helped me dig deeper, refactor code, and rethink the UX.
Hereโs whatโs changed:
โ Removed email sign-up โ connect directly with GitHub
โ Support for scanning multiple repos under one GitHub account
โ Improved error handling + added a backend queue (so you get your scan results even if things go down)
โ Email notification once scan is ready
โ Introduced a badge system to validate good coding practices (because devs deserve recognition)
Still in progress:
๐ Better explanations for each issue
๐ค AI prompts to help you fix problems faster
This journey reminded me: when you listen, you build better. And Iโm still listening.
If youโre a developer, founder, or agency and want to validate your code quality, Iโd love your feedback too:
Letโs keep building tools that respect the craft. ๐ป๐
