Congrats on the launch!
It seems this is focused on lens/image recognition, very cool.
A few notes since you mentioned feedback:
- Buttons under "If you don't want to use our backend, you can use your own API key as the instruction below." dont appear/load correctly for me. I can't quite see them.
- I see 'Model-agnostic Approach' and read the FAQ on it, but I'm still not super clear of what models haha. I think logos would really help here, and maybe even a feature table.
e.g. It seems I can use the OpenAI model, and maybe Llama? But I'm really not sure what image rec api's or models are out there, so a feature table/comparison on your site would go a long way in me deciding to download your app.
- I would love a cost comparison slider on your site
e.g. "here's how much we charge"
"here's how much you'd pay (roughly) if you used X vs Y API"
(I don't have the motivation to download/sign up for API's without this comparison b/c I have no frame of reference.)
This looks sweet! I hope to see the lens approach take off. I appreciate the uniqueness.
Would love to follow your twitter and I look forward to more, congrats again on launching!
Hi Esus,
Firstly, I want to genuinely thank you for taking the time to provide such thoughtful feedback. Launching this has been a journey, and I'm still learning every step of the way.
Regarding the section "If you don't want to use our backend, you can use your own API key as the instruction below.", I truly apologize for the oversight. The aim was to guide users on how to get the API Key from Open AI and OpenRouter. Scribe helped craft that tutorial slide, and I'll ensure it's clearer moving forward.
Your suggestion about the FAQ section resonates with me. I realize it might've been a bit vague, and I'll work on refining it based on your input.
The primary aim of this app is to offer access to the LLM model at a competitive price through an easy-to-use mobile application. I also wanted to offer something unique, which led to the inclusion of the OCR service to extract text from images. To be honest, that was my initial pride and joy. However, with the recent launch of OpenAI's GPT-4V and its remarkable capabilities, I felt a slight shift in our marketing approach was necessary.
Thanks again for your insights.
See how quick, easy, and powerful AI can be used in customer service applications.
LensQuery sounds like an interesting tool for customer service applications. I'm looking forward to seeing how quickly and effectively AI can be used.
