Could it be you have technical difficulties? Tried loading the site in chrome, FF & IE but it doesn't show a mindmap on this url: https://learn-anything.xyz/progr...
@nikitavoloboev I figured out it was my ad blocker on Chrome. None of the javascript/css was loaded for the website. After I whitelisted it, all was well :-)
We hope you will like the website. Our goal is to provide the most efficient paths for learning any topic on Earth, curated and moderated by a community of people.
There is a video introduction you can watch that goes over all the main features of the website : https://youtu.be/_zYjS2Uicso
Everything is open source too, both the website and all the maps. ๐
This is an amazing product! I love the simplicity of it. ๐ Is it possible to create these types of "webs" for myself? This would allow me to aggregate the resources I use for a particular topic, something I now try to accomplish using bookmarksfolders... ๐ Again, great job! ๐
I'm very excited about your product and have questions.
How do you categorise continuous information? Also category / category context can change instantly in todays world. How will you follow & react to this changes?
@_alper Currently all maps are open source and you can contribute by pressing the button with the ๐ฆ on the bottom right and editing the JSON but we hope to make this process super easy in the future by having a live editor inside the search. So all links and maps should hopefully be sustained and helped by a community of people using the search and wanting it to become better.
Good idea! An interface is simple and convenient. The only disadvantage I see is a limited list of topics. I couldn't find the information crowdfunding, geography and countries, history.
This is neat, very neat! ๐ค I can definitely see this as a more visual based alternative to informative resources like Wikipedia.
My feedback would be to incorporate bit-sized information per level of information you're interacting with. This could provide context to items you might not know the pretext of. It could also add that additional fun factor to it if its an AI chat bot who communicates with you while you're delving deeper into the mindmaps.
I think this is a wonderful idea, especially for neat freak people like me who prefer to consume information in a visual and organized manner. Never give me more than I need or ask for. ๐คค
Please keep working on it as it has great potential. It wouldnt hurt to make the UI a bit more modernist although I can appreciats the contemporary style as well.
Great job guys and good luck with the launch! ๐๐๐
I'd personally prefer, if there's no result available, to be offered to search the keyword on scholar.google.com
Way better option than duckduckgo imo.
@federico_rodriguez_llull Currently you can edit maps by clicking on the orange button with the ๐ฆ and editing JSON itself. We will make it a lot easier in the future though with a live editor. :)
@joshdance There are some tips on how to use it in the sidebar if you click the burger menu on top right. There is also more info in the GitHub repo : https://github.com/nikitavoloboe...
Hope you like it. :)
@sabrisjourney We posted the original MindNode maps but not the search engine as it was not built then. Now we actually have a search engine over that Knowledge Map which is really powerful and is open source.
