Is Leapsome meant to eliminate stand up status updates? Or is it meant to augment it with note taking and commenting?

It can be used for any type of meeting really - I personally use it for my 1:1s (note-taking and commenting), wider team meetings (where we collect topics upfront and prioritize them in our shared agenda) and stand-ups. Not meant to replace meetings, just to augment them!
@jgani Thanks for your support, much appreciated! Indeed it helps with both. Primarily it ensures every planned meeting is properly prepared for by the participants. Over time this also helps reducing the amount of meetings needed, since the meetings that do happen lead to results and clear action steps :)

@anthony_latona Resonating a lot with this! Meetings are a part of our daily lives, but without the proper tools and alignment in place, then oftentimes they end up being ineffective.

Congrats on the launch! Sounds like a great tool for structuring larger meetings that involve many people. But how does it help in 1:1s? Sounds like a bit of overwork to me, can you share your experience and advice?
@anastasiabuga Thanks for the support Anastasia! Most 1:1 happen on a recurring basis, and our tool helps you keep all talking points, shared (and private) notes and decisions stored so you can always check back on them in preparation for your next 1:1. This comes in really handy for example if you want to discuss the development progress of a direct report, since you can resurface any discussed points from past instances.
As a person tired of meetings that lead to poor outcomes with no actionable content, I applause Leapsome!

Sounds like a very good idea! Can't wait to try it out and see if it really brings value to regular meetings. Of course this only works when management doesn't like to hear themselves talk, which was a problem I faced in the past. Wish you all the best with this launch!
@michacassola Thank you for the support Micha! The collaborative agenda actually helps giving each participant more ownership over the meeting. Since it's transparent who put which point on the agenda, management tends to find it easier to take a step back and listen first.
Neat to be able to use templates for recurring meetings and being able to collaborate on agendas. I love the clean UI and crisp use case! Will give more feedback after testing more.
On the wishlist (so far) is a more streamlined onboarding focusing on the right flow. I assumed from the pop-up it was an interactive product tour, but it was a checklist where I ended up struggling a little with getting started because it seemed I could try different things (like creating action points), but I really have to start by deciding wether to sync my calendar to be able to do the other things!

Running well-structured meetings (of any kind) can be a hard-earned skill that everyone needs to have in their toolkit. The improvements in productivity, engagement, and team morale from great meetings vs the energy-draining and time-sucking feeling we've all felt from poor meetings is pretty wild, and Leapsome's meetings module makes it SO much easier to ensure that meetings are beneficial and impactful.

@soumilrathi Hi Soumil, thank you so much for the support! You can indeed review meeting agendas prior to joining the meeting that you've been added to. Talking points & action items are all available to meeting participants prior to the meeting's start time, which allow for collaboration and alignment even before the meeting starts. We'd love for you to try it out and let us know what you think!

Yes, meeting agendas couuuuld be planned in a shared doc or similar. But having all theses nuanced functionalities like receiving a timley reminder notification with already added talking points, commenting on talking points and assigning action items, as well as making talking points private that you may not want to share with everyone attending are really a big game changer!
Before using Leapsome Meetings, I always struggled to keep meeting agendas clean, while also not forgetting to add crucial discussion points that come up during the week.
Leapsome makes it very easy to check off all things that have been discussed in a meeting so that you always have a clear agenda. The integrations with Slack and MS Teams allow adding talking points without even opening the meeting, so I never forget to add anything of importance to the agenda.

Since I joined Leapsome three years ago - (Ok so maybe my comment is a tiny bit biased) - but since that moment I learnt how effective meetings can be with a clear agenda. No more wondering what will be discussed or even the (why am I here??? question marks). Very satisfyingly as well those action items are assigned right in the meetings and there is no more: oh we all agreed on the next steps but who will take them.
As a manager I really love the structure and it helps me to share accountability with the entire team - everyone is responsible for making each meeting meaningful and it works like charm plus leaves enough time for fun check ins 💜
If this existed 10 years ago my graduate scheme years would have been a bit more interesting. Very nice idea with tons of potential. All the best!
