Lately is a social app that prioritizes your mental health by letting you post just once a month. With no likes, comments, or notifications, it’s designed to help you focus on living your life while sharing what matters, lately.
As someone who’s battled mental health challenges for most of my life, I’ve always wanted to create something that encourages people to step away from their devices—something that might sound strange coming from someone who’s building an app! Over time, I realized how much current social media can harm our mental well-being, and I became determined to change that. I wanted to create a space that helps break free from the unhealthy habits we’ve developed as a society and gives people a chance to reconnect with life for themselves—to enjoy the present, without the pressure. That’s why I created Lately: to help people live more mindfully and rediscover the joy of being in the moment, with the people who matter most.
Incredible! This is such a thoughtful and needed approach to social media. Prioritizing mental health and encouraging mindfulness is such a great way to help people connect without the usual pressures. Excited to see how Lately makes a positive impact—great work man!
