Hi Product Hunt 👋
We’re excited to launch Kuky, a mental health platform where people connect in real time based on shared emotional experiences not just shared interests or symptoms.
Why we built it:
We believe that emotional wellbeing shouldn't be solitary. Inspired by peer support research and real-life stories, Kuky was designed to help people feel seen and understood especially during moments of emotional stress or isolation.
What makes Kuky different:
💬 AI-powered video matching – Users upload short, private video clips. Our LLM-driven sentiment engine analyses tone, expression, and speech to match users with peers in a similar emotional state.
🤝 Peer-to-peer, not therapy – Kuky isn't a replacement for clinical care. It’s a new kind of safe space, grounded in evidence-based peer support.
📖 Backed by science – Our model is inspired by leading studies:
• Shalaby & Agyapong (2020): Peer support reduces stigma & improves wellbeing
• Cooper et al. (2024): Peer-led interventions increase hope, connection & empowerment

👩💻 Built for those who feel alone but don’t want to stay that way. Whether you're going through something tough, or just want to talk to someone who gets it, Kuky is here to help.
We’d love your feedback and support 🙌

Finally, a mental health app that’s less clinical and more human. This could really help people who just want to be heard without judgment. Any plans to expand beyond English soon? Multilingual support could open this up to so many more people in need. @armin_nehzat
So interesting social media approach! Connect on the topic of what is your current challenge is:) I am interested as bio is quite instructured text, what categories you use in order to match semantically person to one of the category umbrellas?
@katya_prusakova great question, we have groups that we assign users. If you visit app.kuky.com you’ll see the list on top right but there’s sub classifications under each one. Hope that answers your question.
