KoolStories is here to improve your daily upskilling with micro-learning. Inspire yourself with fast-paced 1-minute learning video, learn a new technique, in 15 minutes, with mini-courses and discuss your doubts within the community.
Two months ago, we released the KoolStories beta application π
Thanks to your support, we had the chance to work on valuable feedback.
This process gave birth to KoolStories Version 1.0 π
It's an exciting moment, and I am glad to share it with you!
What are the newest updates you will find:
π± Updated UI:
We have implemented a new UI to provide an upgraded user experience.
The user flow has been simplified, with an emphasis on interactions and behaviour, as well as new elements that contrast with one another. We gave the app a new, fresh, and modern look that was not only consistent with our final target but it would also enticed people to use it.
π― Mini-Course Dashboard:
Many of you asked about a more intuitive and dynamic minicourse dashboard; now, you can navigate more easily into the minicourse, interact and connect with other learners attending the same course and discuss the topic within a chatbox.
π Snipt linked with Mini-Courses:
We have broken the barrier between a one-minute snipt and its technique; you can finally dive into the methods and secrets behind it with just a click.
π§ Audio content:
Audio snipt and minicourses are now available on KoolStories.
Be tuned: We will release a gamification feature with rewards to elevate the learning experience after watching a minicourse, and we will optimise the current flow based on your feedback.
Let us know any suggestions, thoughts and ideas that could bring the KoolStories reality to another level.
Let's turn social media behaviour into a helpful learning experience together! π£
@alessandro_canella Congratulations on the update Alessandro π―π
much smoother experience now π
I am interested to know, how did you get your first users?
@alessandro_canella Congrats on the launch! This is incredible, in this day & age, people need to focus on upskilling as nothing is secure or guaranteed. I'm always on board with people having more methods of informing and educating themselves!
@alessandro_canella congrats with the launch! Idea sounds interesting. Guys, who designs the courses, you do it yourself or allow your users to add it as well? Didn't find the info about this.
Congrats on all the improvements in this latest release team!
Gamification feature sounds awesome, do you already have a timeline for when it would be available to users?
@nicolaas_spijker Hey Nico good morning!
We are happy you enjoyed the new release! :)
We are working hard to release the gamification feature at the earliest.
I will share some spoiler news during the next few days! :D

@piotr_pawlowski Good morning Piotr; you are right, the micro-learning market is growing, and it's the best way to gain micro-skills and practice them quickly. Thanks for your wishes; we will do our best to impact many people's lives positively. Thanks again for the support!
A really cute and useful application that makes you smarter the more you use it!
Awesome updates ?makers , you took the app to the next level! Good luck with your launch!
@ictoba Hey Cristian, we are glad to know that you like the updates! A big one is coming up for the next months; be tuned and stay connected. Let's Go!
Micro-learning and mini-courses are the way to go in this just-in-time tech world. You guys did a fantastic job, and success will follow if you constantly deliver at the same pace. π
@savian_boroanca This is our vision, Savian, I am happy you like the work done so far, and still, a lot has to come. We hope you will enjoy this 1st Version. :)
@janset_angi Hi Janset, thanks for your support. Our attention span has decresed dramatically in the last 20 years. On top of this we have less time during our busy days for upskilling. But fortunately information sharing has improved and there are new time-efficient ways to acquire knowledge and microlearning is definetely one of them. There is a long journey ahead for KoolStories, and one day we will solve the upskilling needs of most people.
I really like you presentation on Google Play store. I think you need to make text little shorter on google play store, so users can get your product in few lines. I hope to see some good updates from you. Good luck brother.
@varunrazora
Hey Varun, I am sure our Creative @susy_allocca will be happy to know your opinion! :)
Thanks for the feedback, we will keep in mind once we will edit the copies; be tuned because some great news are coming up! ;)
@mariamyusuf_ Hey Mariam, we decided to invest our focus into micro-learning and fast-paced content due to the low attention span of people. Micro-learning is the best way to enhance a digestible learning experience where you can immediately practice the technique you have learnt with the mini-course. Again, I am glad to see you here, and I am happy to count on you on the way to chance e-learning.
Such a cool idea! I've been searching for an app like this that turns lessons into snack bites. It's great for busy people that only have a few spare minutes per day!
Congrats on the launch π
@andrea_todorova1
Hey Andrea, I am happy you like the micro-learning concept.
Feel free to share any ideas/feedback with us; you are more than welcome. :)
Kool Stories is an unsettling stunner about how we should approach upskilling. Bristling with insight, gripping right from the word go.
Thank you @alessandro_canella for sharing this extremely helpful tool with us.
@dsarkar Debajit, I am happy to see you here and thanks for your kind words. We are doing our best to create a valuable and interactive environment where anyone can turn the scrolling-behaviour into a useful experience.
@advait_vaidya1
Hey Advait, thanks for your support!
This is a kool question. In such a platform as KoolStories, curation is the key; just online professionals and experts can produce content on KoolStories, and we have a verification process in-house to moderate the content creator selection and the content production. This is a nice question. Thanks for asking. :)
@iscu_andrei
Hey Iscu, Good afternoon!
Thanks for showing your support and interest in KoolStories.
Feel free to share your feedback and ideas; I would appreciate it.
Also, remember to grab one free mini-course with the code above.
Great Run today! :)
"Useful Ideas condensed in a minute = KoolStories"
If you're on TikTok consuming Educational driven content and you wish there was one platform to curate these types of content. Your wish is granted that's because KoolStories is that platform.!
Great job Kool Stories Team! π₯π
@olha_kurinna Thanks for the wishes, Olha. Pointless social media scrolling motivates us daily to turn it into a useful one. It's a behaviour we cannot remove but can be improved.
@sara_botticelli Thanks Sara, so nice to hear that you have the app already, and going for the mini-course. Remember that there is a code to get one for free here on product hunt!
@galaxyx7 Hey Romano, I am happy you asked this question. Everything started because we are avid learners, and we used to invest most of our time learning online; talking with friends and like-minded people, we realised that most weren't successfully learning online due to too static experiences and too long courses over the traditional e-learning platform. That made us think about merging the e-learning industry with social media, enabling a more interactive dynamic learning experience where bite-sized content plays a crucial role,
satisfying the low attention span issue.
@basharath, thanks for your support! The team has worked hard in the last couple of months, and your comments make us proud. The journey is still long, but learning will be in our pockets one day!
