Kin Habits - Build healthy habits with friends

Hey everyone! I've been on a quest to improve my mental and physical well-being so I can present the best version of myself to the people around me. Amongst other things, this quest led me to start building Kin with @amittm, @damienkan, and @omarjalalzada We have personally experienced the profound benefits of developing and maintaining healthy habits— they helped us be more healthy, mindful, and grounded while navigating all the triumphs and challenges of our personal lives. That's why we created Kin to help us in our journey but also share it as a gift with the rest of the world. We've been beta testing this with our friends so far and received valuable feedback. Now, we're really excited to invite the Product Hunt maker community as our collaborators as we build a product that could positively impact many lives. I've been using Kin for months and it's helped me stay more consistent with my workouts and build a new meditation practice. Design is simple and beautiful!

The onboarding is super smooth. Holding a habit button down to complete was unexpectedly satisfying. ?makers are there plans to allow for The Kin community to reach out to other using the app for accountability vs just friends?

Big fan of Kin - have been using for some time now to improve my meditation, exercise, and eating habits, and it actually works! I was using spreadsheets / giving friends a dollar every time I slip, but this basically replaces all that and makes it a ton easier. The accountability is real... Highly recommend!

accountibility support system is integral in new habit and neural pathway re-programming methods i researched. Kudos!

@amittm @damienkan @omarjalalzada @justinkan Congratulations on the launch! The last year has been so such an important year in my life where I got an opportunity to reflect, and form habits. I maintained a journal and used to track activity with a no. of apps in iPhone, but didn't find any good one-stop-solution. I wish Kin was there, to be able to connect with the communities, helping each other reach our goals. Will definitely try it 🙏

I have been using kin for 2ish months and its reallly awesome!

I've tried so many tried so many apps and methods to track my habits and stay consistent. Nothing has really stuck so far, but this app looks like exactly what I need. Can't wait to try it!

Kin provided an easy and straight forward way for me to implement habits I've been wanting to incorporate into my daily routine (like working out and writing more). I also found friends who wanted to achieve similar goals and the app helps facilitate that light social accountability. A beautifully designed app that helps you live a better life.

I think the combination of guidance and social teamwork/encouragement will work well and produce measurable results.

Justin Kan has up and downtime so he knows how to bounce back from downtime. He is my hero.
