Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Just Log because I was personally frustrated paying loads of money for workout apps packed with features I never used.
Started as a quick side project - just wanted something simple to log my gym sessions without fighting social feeds and meal planning nonsense.
Spent ~60 days building completely in public on Twitter/X and Reddit, sharing every bug fix, feature decision, and small win. The response was incredible - went from 30 followers to 500+ just by being authentic about the process.
After launching on iOS, we've already reached 2000+ users who clearly share this frustration with bloated fitness apps. Turns out the solution was just... removing stuff instead of adding more?
Built for people who want to track their workouts efficiently and get on with their day. No notifications, no social pressure, no feature bloat.
The app focuses purely on what matters: logging your sets, tracking your progress, and getting out of the app in under 30 seconds.
Sometimes the best product is the simplest one. Would love your thoughts and support! 🚀
@mohamed_rimshadpcs Congrats on your launch! Great that you have already reach 2000+ users it's good to know. I like the feature that no social pressure we needed in this and no feature bloat. And true a hundred and thousands of people are using the tools that they usually don't use all the features of them but still paying for that. I hope you will get more users.
Love the idea of a no-fluff tracker. Sometimes apps get in their own way but this seems designed to actually help me move instead of making me overthink. Really solid concept.
The tagline is spot on. Most workout trackers try to be everything at once but this sounds like it stays focused on the essentials. That's the kind of experience I trust
Love the no-fluff approach here—tracking workouts always felt way too complicated for me. Does it sync across devices, or is it all local? This is just so refreshingly simple!
Minimalist approach sounds perfect. I've been looking for something that lets me focus on my workouts without endless buttons and menus. This feels like the kind of tool I'd actually stick with.
Just downloaded this. Looks really slick. Will probably spend the week trying it out to get a better feel for how it fits into my workout routine.
I did notice a couple of potential “bugs” you might want to look into. I’m using the iPhone app version and am seeing the following:
1. Some of the buttons like Create Workflow on the main page require me to click directly on the text when though the button looks like it’s the width of the screen (i.e. clicking on the side of the button doesn’t trigger the click event)
2. I found the same experience when trying to change settings and clicking on an option (e.g. i have to click directly on “km” or “mi” for the change to take affect and the modal to close)
3. I can’t close a settings option modal unless i make a choice. I know I can click the same option so it’s not a big deal, but just an observation since I’m used to just clicking away from the modal in the background and closing it that way.
4. If i make a change on the settings page I’m sent back to the main page immediately, so I can’t make multiple changes at once
Anyways. Overall this is super cool and I’m excited to try it out! Good luck with the launch!
Quick question: the one thing I find with workout app is I feel like they don't keep record of my weights and push me for my next life, in a smart AI-driven way, even though they say they do.

@cruise_chen Yes indeed Justlog sync across devices
This is exactly what I needed—logging a workout in 30 seconds flat is a game-changer. Huge respect for stripping it back to what actually matters.
