👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m Eric Davich, founder of Jammy. In my last startup, 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐳𝐚, our early adopters were essential partners—shaping the product, sharing feedback, and growing with us from day one. In fact, user feedback helped directly guide decisions that led to our acquisition by Google. Now, I’m excited to embark on a similar journey with 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐲, and I’m eager to work alongside this community to make Jammy 1000x better. 🌟 At Jammy, our mission is to make mental health more approachable and empowering for young adults by blending music, mindfulness, and AI-powered emotional support. One day, I hope to look back at this moment as the time when we first met the people whose ideas and feedback helped transform Jammy into the most radically useful mental health tool on the market—one that truly shifts the trajectory of our collective mental health. ❓ 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐲? 💬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 & 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:Relate to and learn from others who share similar emotional experiences, or anonymously share your own story to help others feel understood. 🧠 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐈 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: Get private, non-judgmental support through AI-powered voice or text conversations tailored to your unique feelings, available anytime, anywhere. 🎧 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐝-𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: After conversations, we suggest music that matches your mood, providing the right soundtrack for whatever you need in the moment—whether it’s a boost or a calming break. 🔑 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭? Great job, Eric and team! Can you share one of the most empowering stories a user has shared about Jammy's impact?
Eric Davich
@cindy_berman probably the person who used Jammy to help them realize they could buy a device and join a local gym to circumvent their need to use their phone when they first wake up - now they don’t touch it for the first 2 hours of the day, they exercise and feel more at peace ✌️

It is cool to see products aiming to support global mental health ! How did you come up with this idea ?
Eric Davich
@brijs thanks so much! It started when I developed an interest in Gen Z's mental health, while working in marketing at Google. Over the past 18 months or so, it's been a process of talking to young adults, testing ideas, and iterating based on learnings. Much of my experience as a lifelong musician and mindfulness practitioner has serendipitously come into play given their social, emotional, and cultural significance. Moving forward, we'll continue to talk and - more importantly - listen to our audience in order to understand what it will take to make this product 1000x more useful.

Eric - I bought into this (literally) by paying $9.99 for your 'license' in the apple store. Now when I launch the app, its prompting me to pay $9.99 monthly to even use the app? Is that a mistake, or is this actually your pricing model? Please make it make sense before I request a refund ...
