JamGPT is debugging alongside you, so you can identify the bug, receive the code to fix it, and share with your team – all in one link. Powered by OpenAI and unique bug diagnostic data from Jam, you’ll never have to search Stack Overflow again.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 While most things in product development have changed 100x since the 1990’s, how we report bugs has not. So we started a company to change that, and bring the forgotten but essential process of catching and fixing bugs from the 1990’s into the future. And when we saw what was now possible with AI 🤯, we knew we had to find a way to bring it to you in Jam. And so after lots of hard work and iteration, we are so excited to launch JamGPT 🤖, an AI debugging assistant that works alongside you in your bug report suggesting fixes. What JamGPT can do: 🎯 Identify the root cause of the bug 📥 Know the exact context of your bug to give you exact tips 🔎 Work in any language/framework your app is built in 📈 Chat with you via detailed explanations or quick TLDRs ✅ Fix buggy code with relevant suggestions 🌄 Create a PR description for the bug ticket 🎨 Fix styles, no matter what CSS framework you use 🤡 Humor you with its programming jokes….you’ll see. This is just the beginning of AI at Jam. We are committed to leveraging what’s now possible to bring bug reporting out of its archaic 1990’s roots and into a better, more productive future. Like always, we love to hear from fellow builders. Let us know how you think AI can change the game for bug reporting. ❤️, Dani & the Jam team

This is amazing! I thought I would never say it... but now I'm excited for a bug to pop so I can try JamGPT with it. Also, the Jam team is the best! Congrats on the launch 🙌
Mihai Stroe
@bernatfortet we're excited to have you jamming with us!
Dani Grant
Thank you @bernatfortet!! 🐛 😆
Arnold Syphommarath
Congrats! The JamGPT design looks amazing
Mihai Stroe
@arnoldsypho thank you Arnold, we have @chadpugh, @maja_fi and @petarcirko to thank for that!
Dani Grant
+1 thank you @arnoldsypho!! And you'll see some elements on the page you designed too 😄

Congrats on the launch Dani! We use chatGPT to debug our code daily. This interface can potentially make things even more efficient!
Mihai Stroe
@hai_ta1 that sounds ripe to use JamGPT! Imagine dev logs and AI power in the same place!
Dani Grant
Thanks so much @hai_ta1!! That is so interesting – we've started to see developers always have open a tab with ChatGPT, and that was our inspiration for JamGPT. To save them a step of going to that tab and copy/pasting the error message and context to the AI - it can just be right inside Jam, already prompted with all the important bug context.
Igor Pavlov
Gonna share it with my team! We love debugging things together, but sometimes you just need to solve it fast. Does it work only for the development process or let's say, integrates with Sentry, reads the message, looks into the code and tells you immediately if it finds a bug in production as well?
Dani Grant
Woohoo, thanks @igorpavlov! Integrates with Sentry, funny you should mention... 👀 stay tuned! But truly I love the idea of letting it go search for the bug in prod and see if it's happening there too. We hadn't thought of that but it makes perfect sense, sharing with my team!

Hey Dani and the Jam team, congratulations on launching JamGPT! As a CTO & managing a big team of developers, I know the struggle of debugging and searching Google, Stack Overflow for solutions. The idea of an AI debugging assistant that identifies the root cause, provides contextual tips, and works across languages and frameworks sounds like a promising idea. Collected & Supported. Wishing you all the best on this exciting journey!
Mihai Stroe
@maxtpham thank you lots, we're very excited about it! We hope JamGPT will support your devs well!
Dani Grant
+1 thank you @maxtpham! One of the most interesting parts of AI is it eliminates the need for search. And that's a huge time sync in debugging.

Congrats on the launch! Everyone can be a 10x engineer with this!
Dani Grant
Thank you @sddang! I truly believe AI + developer is a 10x engineer.
Jòzsef Molnos
Hi there! Congrats on your launch! :) This could be an excellent product with great potential, but I have a question: How does JamGPT handle complex, multi-layered bugs, especially when they involve interactions between multiple components or modules of a software system?
Dani Grant
@jozsef_molnos amazing question! JamGPT has all the bug diagnostic details from the front-end bug report, so it will suggest a place to start the bug fix and then chats collaboratively with the developer who can let JamGPT know more about the infrastructure that is invisible from the browser, and JamGPT will adapt its suggestions accordingly. This is actually one of the reasons we made JamGPT to be a chat interface – often debugging is a conversation, it's collaborative, it's not just a one-and-done, so we wanted the developer to have a way to work together with the AI and be faster for it, especially for those more complicated bugs!

Ouriel Ohayon
i have the extension and could not figure how to get to it
Mihai Stroe
@ourielohayon hi there! once you take a Jam of a page with a bug, you'll find the JamGPT tab in the right side of your screen. Here's a video demo as well:
Ouriel Ohayon
@mstroe could you make it possible the debug/solution appears without having to take a video or recoridng
Mihai Stroe
@ourielohayon instead of a video/recording, you can use a simple screen capture or Instant Replay (up to 30 seconds for hard to reproduce bugs). JamGPT is paired with a jam so that you can identify the bug, get help in finding a solution using the diagnostic data and share the details with another team member from the same place.
