@melaniearonson Congrats with the launch to you and your team. Great cause and great drive. My first two constructive thoughts were that I believe in your ambassador angle, that could really make all the difference when it comes to hacking growth. Looks like your community is ready to take leadership and you as a founder talk in the same spirit. That's awesome.
On the landing page I'd add some entry points to specific interests to explore. Like, music, sports...etc. Right now it's a bit flat so I am not sure if it's "for me" when I sign up. Even though people talk about the good tagging and diverse options.
That and some stats on your top spots like "already x people in Malmö" or something the like. Maybe even "cities that need an ambassador" by dynamic geotargeting so that a Dutch visitor sees Dutch cities -- that could increase conversion rates because it would make the Call-to-Action more specific for people.

Although I didn’t move anywhere, the question of finding friends by specific (:))) interests is still relevant for me. I'll try Panion, I hope it will be a success!
@elena_zabalueva definitely. Even when living in your hometown, it can often be difficult to find people who share your interests. And our lives shift and change over time and we always need new people who can truly get who we've become! Thanks for sharing :)
As a pretty shy guy, reaching out to people doesn’t always come naturally to me, but Panion makes it really easy to find people that I have things in common with, and then conversations just happen. It’s amazing how many nice people are everywhere if you just find something to connect over. Last weekend I had a few Panions over for a Mario Kart tournament, it was really great! Definitely try out Panion if you haven’t.

As an expat, using this app & being involved has been great! Great way to meet new friends with the same interests. Having moved around quite a lot; Canada to Denmark and now to Sweden, meeting/making new friends has always been challenging but having something like Panion has definitely helped me meet more locals, expats and other people who share some interests of mine. I moved across the globe, (from Australia to Sweden) and discovered that making friends can be tough in a new culture.I joined the Panion team and started using the app as well as working on it! was really helpful because it has much more of a focus on meeting people that are interested in similar activities compared to other social apps. It helped to create an 'ice-breaker' between me and several other people, in that it gave us the opportunity to talk about things we both share an interest in. (In my case, whiskey and tech :D )
As more people join the app, I'm finding there's a surprising amount of people out there who are dying to interact with others and make genuine platonic connections without having to dive into the world of 'dating' apps. I'm really excited about the future of our app :) Thanks everyone for checking it out!
There are lots of specific keywords in this app that you can pick as your interests and this worked quite good for me for the last few months! As a pro gamer 😎 it's really hard to find good gamers around. Thanks to Panion, I have 4 new and really good gamer friends now and we're having fun gaming nights!

I have been using the app for a while now after moving to Malmo, Sweden and I think it is really great. I have made a few friends from the app and have met some of them in person too. Thank you for making it easy for me to find great friends from a totally new place. I will be using the app in the future too since I think it is very easy to find new through this platform and hence can have real discussions that interests both parties. Really excited to see Panion grow much bigger.

I moved to Sweden a few years back, its always a challenge when you move somewhere new, but to move to a new country well thats like climbing a mountain. Whilst I made friends and connections for work it was still not always easy, I felt like I was starting out all over again. Then I found Panion, I was a little "yeah right" at first but after using it for a few hours I started to learn about like minded people who shared my interests, one of them was film making, Through Panion I got to meet a bunch of new people in my new city who loved making and discussing making movies. It was so cool. Panion is the friend you need when moving to someplace new.

Technically, I found it really professional. I have no problems using the app and this was really surprising!! I am a bit pessimist about digital ways of finding people. Matter of trust or whatever; but here astonishingly, I met real people with real interests in common!

Very easy to use and serves its purpose. The default set tagline is making the person coming off as desperate

Hi @toni_petrovski thanks for your insight. That default tagline is no longer being used on our side and was supposed to add a bit of sarcasm. We realized a lot of people weren't filling out their taglines so we changed it to a more engaging system where people could answer questions about themselves and them start conversations based on their answers. Yes! @abron_studio We have enough romance-focused options but we all need a place where we can explore our interests and build new friendships without the pressure of dating. Panion has been amazing. I found workout partners on Panion and now we go to the gym together. Whenever I travel, while waiting for my flight, I often meet people on the airport through Panion have a cup of coffee with them, its really nice to get to know people and get their point of view. Where most of the social apps have restricted us to our smartphones, Panion has forced me to get out of my phone and actually become socially outgoing.

Kan varmt anbefale Panion! Jeg arbejder hjemmefra og møder derfor ikke automatisk en masse mennesker gennem mit arbejde. Da jeg flyttede til en ny by valgte jeg at prøve Panion og det har hjulpet mig til at opbygge et netværk med nye "kollegaer" som jeg kan sparre og nørde med, som jeg ellers aldrig ville have mødt.

Today purpose is crucial for success. The purpose should be so good, that customers and suppliers like to contribute. Panion has that standard. Moreover, they also care about the feedback;-) It means continuous improvement...

I’ve been using Panion for the last few months and it’s been a wonderful way to meet people in my area. I think it’s a really cool concept - a non-dating app that allows me to find people with similar interests!

Finding some friends with the same interests might not be easier than this. Since the time that I have moved to Sweden, I really missed the activities that I used to do with my friends and this app made this possible for me again. Thanks, Panion!
