I'm still rocking my first generation iPad. I call it my Netflix machine, because that's all I use it for and while slow and less sexy than the 6.1MM iPad Air 2, it works. I prefer to work on my MacBook Pro and when I'm on the go, my iPhone gets the job done.

disappointed that the ipad mini 3 doesn't have same specs as this new fancy piece of kit.... almost seems worth considering the iphone 6 plus (can't believe I sad that)

Interesting tidbit: The new iPads include an "Apple SIM" (in the US and the UK), which is supposed to allow quick on-demand carrier changing...even when abroad. This virtualization of the SIM card, making long-contract plans obsolete, is the biggest announcement for me in regards to Apple's mobile devices!

Anyone else spot the Fab.com screenshot? Kind of a weird choice given Fab has since pivoted to Hem.

This and a watch would make me a happy camper. Thinner is great, but 40% faster CPU is rad
