Hi everyone, I’m Joe—software developer by trade, softball dad by title, and now, unexpectedly, an app creator.

After too many weekends spent trying to analyze my daughter’s pitching and hitting with nothing but my phone camera and wild hand gestures, I decided to build the tool I couldn’t find: PitchGrid—a free app that lets you sync and compare sports videos side-by-side.

I use it constantly—sometimes to break down a swing, sometimes just to show progress over time, and sometimes because I spotted something weird and needed to double-check I wasn’t losing my mind. It’s become part of our routine, and I figured if it helps us, maybe it can help others too.

We just launched (first app, first Product Hunt post, lots of learning in public), and I’d love your feedback—whether you’re a builder, a coach, a parent, or just curious.
