I Left the City, Went to the Jungle, and Came Back With a Mission
I used to clean rooms in a 5-star hotel.
Then I was hauling bricks on a construction site in London.
Now I’m building a platform I believe could change how people work forever.
Humble Beginnings
I grew up in the Czech Republic.
Studied CNC. Worked as a van driver.
I moved to Amsterdam full of energy and ambition, ready to see the world.
Instead, I found myself cleaning luxury hotel rooms, watching handwritten rotas, chaotic shift plans, and endless paper trails rule the day.
Luxury on the surface.
Chaos behind the scenes.
I couldn’t stop asking: Why is everything this messy?
That question followed me when I moved to London, with no money, no plan, no backup.
I worked in construction by day. I collapsed into bed by night.
Still asking the same question.
The Turning Point
Eventually, I landed a job as a CNC operator.
It wasn’t glamorous, but for the first time, I had something powerful:
A desk and a computer.
That changed everything.
I started automating little things.
Solving problems no one was looking at.
People noticed.
I got pulled into the office, not to observe, but to improve.
And that’s when I saw it up close:
Disconnected systems.
Paper everywhere.
Overwhelmed teams.
Everyone working hard… just to keep the chaos under control.
So I built a system.
Just for that company. Simple. Clear. It just… worked.
And for the first time, people could actually breathe.
That was my “aha” moment.
If one company needed this, so did hundreds more.
Into the Jungle
After I left that company, I needed time to think.
To reset.
To really ask myself what kind of life I wanted to live, and what kind of impact I could make.
So I went to the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador.
Three months.
No screens. No noise.
Just nature, and animals in need of care.
I worked in a wildlife rehabilitation centre.
I cleaned, fed, learned, listened.
And slowly, the stress melted.
The vision sharpened.

That journey changed me.
It made me realise that building something meaningful doesn’t start with funding.
It starts with clarity.
Building What I Needed
When I came back, I started building Managewise.
Not another overcomplicated platform.
Not a bloated software suite.
Just a tool built from the ground up, shaped by everything I’d seen, everything I’d lived through.
A way to help teams work smarter.
To reduce stress.
To communicate clearly.
To finally feel like the system is on your side.
I didn’t build this to chase headlines or raise rounds.
I built it because I lived the problem.
Because work shouldn’t feel this hard.
Because people deserve better.
