Juan Rojas

Hi PH, Im Juan nice to meet you 👋

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I’m Juan, the founder of CoachConnect — A hyper-personalized AI fitness coach in your pocket; combining smart training, flexibility, and cutting-edge technology to help you reach your goals without the guesswork.

My background is in QA engineering, but I’ve always been passionate about fitness, optimization, and tech. After years of mixing gym sessions, solo sports training, and ChatGPT prompt-hacking just to get decent workouts, I decided to build the tool I wish existed.

CoachConnect is still in beta, and I’m learning as I go — especially around scaling a product-led experience and balancing simplicity with personalization. It’s challenging, but exciting!

Would love to connect with others building in health, AI, or product-led spaces — and happy to chat if you’ve ever wrestled with early-stage growth or fitness tech in general.

Drop a comment to say hi, swap notes, or test the app — here’s the beta link.

Hey Juan, welcome to Product Hunt 👋

I always love seeing products in the fitness space, looking for ways to help people get healthier.

I personally don't use much in the way of tech for tracking my workouts outside of just my Apple Watch, but I keep hoping that someone will make a product that fits easily into my workout flow.

Historically, I've always found it to be a bit of a pain to have to stop after every set or ahead of a workout and do a whole bunch of setup on my phone. What's been your main goal with CoachConnect? Are there any particular features of it that you're especially proud of?

Hey Jake, thanks so much for the warm welcome! 👋

I totally get what you’re saying, stopping mid-workout to fiddle with your phone can really break the flow, and it’s one of the key pain points we’re trying to eliminate with CoachConnect.

The main goal of CoachConnect is to act like a virtual coach who already knows your fitness level, goals, available equipment, and training schedule so every routine it creates is ready to go with zero setup. You just tell it what you want once, and it adapts from there.

One feature I’m particularly proud of is how specific and personalized the routines are. No vague "do 15 minutes of cardio" type advice. Every workout is tailored to the user’s sport or fitness goal which gives a lot of flexibility. Eventually, we want to make it smart enough that it can adjust your plan on the fly without any manual input.

Really appreciate your thoughts!

@juan_rojas5 That sounds great! I've definitely run into the issue of getting a recommendation from an AI and it not taking into account the equipment that I have. And yeah, I've gotten the "do 15 minutes of cardio" type of advice for sure. It sounds like what you're describing is ultimately what I know I would love to use, which is an AI fitness product that mostly just gets out of my way and provides some guidance when I need it.
