Hi @brigid_stewart! I think there are a few common mistakes brands make when trying to build a strong identity: overcomplicating the message, jumping on trends without thinking about long-term implications, or ignoring user feedback.

IMO, the most important one is not being clear about the 'why' behind the brand, like why it exists beyond just selling products or services. People want to connect with something deeper, like a purpose or mission they can relate to. Without that, it’s hard to stand out, build trust, or create an emotional bond with your audience. A clear 'why' gives people a reason to care about your brand.
