I'm Thorin. I'm new here, but professionally I have over eighteen years of experience as a software engineer.

I’ve contributed to a variety of open source projects and had a part in founding three companies, although this latest one is my first SaaS company.

My latest venture is SkyPilot. It's an all-in-one social media management and analytics platform for @Bluesky.

Building SkyPilot has been a wild ride. Some days were filled with exciting breakthroughs, and others are a mix of doubt and anxiety, especially when thinking about competing with giants in the social media space.

I'm excited to be here, to learn from this community, share my journey and hopefully create something genuinely useful. I'd love to hear from anyone else who has launched a product in a competitive space. What's one thing you wish you knew before you started?
