Hey, I’m Kirill – I design products that don’t make people hate technology
Hey, PH! I’m Kirill, a UX & product designer obsessed with making tech feel more human.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how bad design makes good ideas fail — whether it’s:
Mental health apps that feel like data-entry chores.
Productivity tools that make people feel less productive.
Workflows that look great in theory but break in real life.
I love digging into why things feel “off”—and figuring out how to fix them. If you’re working on something that needs better UX thinking, let’s chat!
Curious: What’s one app you want to love, but its design makes you avoid using it?

Hey, Kirill!
As a super visual person, great design and ease of use are in my top 3 must-haves for any app—both for myself and when recommending stuff to others. If an app feels clunky or confusing at first glance, I’m out. 😅 I even go the extra mile when explaining things to people by adding screenshots, charts, or videos—because sometimes words just don’t cut it!
One app I wanted to love but just couldn’t figure out? Twitter (now X). I made an account when it was blowing up in Indonesia, but there was zero onboarding or tutorial for newbies. The UI felt like a puzzle, and after a few confused clicks, I just dropped it and never looked back. Still don’t get the hype!
Love your approach to humanizing tech—bad UX is such a silent killer for good ideas. Curious, what’s your take on apps that assume users will “just figure it out”?
It's rare to find a UX designer who cares about business processes. Usually, it's the business analysts who deal with it on their own))))
@tomina_veronika If a UX designer ignores business processes, they're not a UX designer — just a UI designer

@tomina_veronika True!
Facebook & X (ex-Twitter) 🤪
@goshatirov I still don’t get how Twitter works after all these years
Fitness tracking apps could be so much better. I just want simple insights
@kelly_b_menchaca Yeah, reading those charts can be really painful
Banking apps make it tough to find what I’m looking for.
@kay_arkain But what are you really looking for? I once worked for a major bank, and to the business, it was just a superapp for their services

Nice to meet you Kirill!
I’d agree with Facebook—honestly, not a fan of how their UX has evolved (or devolved, really).
