Hello Notion friends!
I'm Kaydan, a digital template designer.
While I'm still new to the Notion world, I come with a strong background in systems and databases. I’m fluent in over 10 programming languages—including Python—but I’ve never felt truly passionate about anything the way I do with Notion.
I might not yet have the marketing flair to grab instant attention, but I take pride in what I do. I love my work, and I’m constantly striving to improve my vision and skills.
I've designed a few Notion templates recently, and I hope they'll be useful to someone out there someday.
I'm not sure if it's allowed to share free download links here—but if it is, I’d be happy to drop them in the comments in case anyone’s interested.
Thanks everyone—glad to be here among you!

Hey Kaydan :)
With all your Notion experience, do you see any major changes in the "Notion industry"?
Is it still growing, or is it stagnating? Because I reckon that with AI and the quite UI/UX friendliness of Notion, many people can "click" their own templates on their own relatively quickly in a short time.
@busmark_w_nika Hey Nika! Great question – and I’ve actually been thinking about this a lot recently. You’re right – Notion has become incredibly user-friendly, and with the rise of AI tools, more people are trying to build their own templates. But the important thing is: the Notion industry isn’t stagnating – it’s evolving. We’ve moved past the phase of just “pretty templates.” Now it’s about strategic systems that solve real problems in organizing work and life, and offer customized experiences that are harder to build randomly. The reality is that AI has raised the bar. It’s become easier to build simple stuff, which has made people look more for well-designed, powerful systems that save time, improve thinking, and help develop habits or work processes. From my side, I see more opportunities now than ever — especially for those who focus on real results, not just aesthetics.
And although AI plays a role in creation, I personally handle the design and integration myself. AI is just a supportive tool, not an executive one — it assists but does not make decisions.
That’s why I’m currently working on a new template built around clarity, progress tracking, and habit reinforcement.
I’m even testing it myself to see if it truly delivers value beyond the “build-a-template-quick” trend. Let’s see where it goes 👀
Best regards
@kaydan So what is your business model now? Are you preparing custom templates, or does someone "order" your service, and you will design it according to his/her preferences?
@busmark_w_nika I am currently designing custom templates. I created the Creator HUB template, suitable for content creators, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and students. It is specifically designed to help with content tracking, business organization, and task management. To make it user-friendly, I turned most elements into dropdown selections so users can quickly update or add their ideas—even from their phones.
I also designed the Second Brain template and launched it on the platform, but it didn’t gain enough visibility for several reasons—mainly my lack of experience in product launching and the presence of product giants, which makes it difficult for a newcomer like me to stand out. Still, I'm trying.
I designed a To-Do List template as well—simple and easy to use, aimed at boosting productivity in a smooth and efficient way. I tried to incorporate key elements like charts and time tracking into the template to help users effortlessly. I launched it too, but for the same reasons mentioned earlier, it didn’t get much attention. However, I will keep trying.
Currently, I’m working on a new template called Financial Tracker, and I hope to finish and launch it soon in a way that truly fits the standards of this community. I’ll make sure it matches the level of the giants here so it can finally see the light.
@kaydan Do you have a website where you share your template portfolio?
