Health is the new sexy. I’m Lesya, and here’s why we built Mark🔥🧠

Hi, PD! I’m Lesya — a neurologist and medical consultant behind Mark, a wellness AI-assistant focused on prevention, personalization, and evidence-based care. My role is to make sure Mark stays clinically grounded and truly helpful. I’ve helped design the medical logic, wellness strategy and educational content — so that every recommendation reflects real science and long-term value, not trends. As a doctor, I believe the future of healthcare begins before symptoms appear — with early insights, smart nudges, and a calm, intelligent approach to change. Together with our team, I also contribute to shaping how our AI models are trained — with medically relevant patterns, ethical framing, and user context in mind. I’m passionate about innovations in medicine — especially those that empower people, support better decisions, and genuinely save or transform lives. Mark was built to make health feel personal again — not overwhelming, not mechanical, but clear, supportive, and human.

Hi Lesya

Mark sounds like an incredibly thoughtful and well-grounded project — I really like your focus on prevention and personalization. It’s refreshing to see an AI health assistant designed with strong clinical oversight instead of chasing trends.

I’m curious though — isn’t there a risk in using AI in medicine, especially when it comes to ensuring safety, avoiding errors, and maintaining patient trust? How do you balance innovation with those concerns?

@artemsf Hi Artem, Thank you — I love that you brought this up. AI in health absolutely comes with responsibility, and it’s not here to replace a doctor — but to help them, by giving people clearer health insights, better daily habits, and earlier awareness of potential risks. Mark is built with a human-in-the-loop approach — every core health insight is designed and reviewed by medical professionals, and we focus on prevention and wellness rather than high-risk diagnostics. We keep safety by — using only evidence-based content, — constantly monitoring the model for accuracy, — setting clear limits on what Mark can and can’t do, — and being transparent so users always know the source of the advice. I believe that innovation in medicine isn’t about replacing doctors — it’s about giving them smarter, safer tools.
