Front-end dev by day, vibe coder by night — building an AI sidekick for GMs

Hey everyone! I’m a front-end engineer by day and a vibe coder by night — which basically means politely arguing with AI until it makes something halfway useful.

My current late-night obsession is a tool for tabletop GMs. It started because I was running D&D for my kids and neighbors and got tired of pulling story hooks, NPCs, and plot twists out of thin air every week. So I glued my front-end skills to some AI magic and built an app that helps GMs spin up campaign content fast — so we can all spend more time actually playing and less time doom-prepping alone at 1am.

It’s up and running now, so I’m here to figure out how to get it in front of people and get honest feedback on what works, what doesn’t, and what would make it genuinely helpful for other game masters.

If you’ve ever run a game, love TTRPGs, or just like poking at weird side projects, I’d love to swap notes, hear what you’re building, and maybe learn how you got your thing out there too.

Looking forward to seeing everyone’s projects!
