From personal struggle to global impact in speech therapy

Hi everyone! I'm Hamza Abualkhair from Egypt, founder & CEO of Lothgha App — the first Arabic-language AI-powered speech therapy platform helping people overcome articulation and fluency disorders.

I started Lothgha out of personal experience and a passion for making speech therapy more accessible, especially for adults in underserved regions. Our app now supports over 74,000 users across 84 countries, and we’ve proudly won 7+ social impact awards, including from Huawei, the Anzisha Prize, and the Islamic Development Bank. We were also selected as one of the top 6 global finalists at the Hult Prize Global Accelerator in London 2024.

Our biggest innovation? We’re the first app globally offering full articulation therapy plans without needing a speech therapist, thanks to our specialized AI model. We’re now expanding to support other disorders like stuttering and aphasia — and building toward a SaaS solution for clinics and providers.

Excited to connect, learn, and collaborate with you all!
