π First Time Launching on Product Hunt β Tips Wanted!
Hey PH community π
Next Tuesday, Iβll be launching my first-ever product on Product Hunt β a platform called ORiON.
ORiON is an AI tool that helps job seekers skip the endless application grind. It automatically finds jobs, fills out applications, and gets you in front of real humans β not just ATS filters.
Itβs been a wild few months building this thing, and now the big day is coming... and I want to get it right.
Since this is my first PH launch, Iβd love to hear:
What worked for you on launch day?
What mistakes should I avoid?
Any underrated tactics that made a difference?
Appreciate any insight, tips, or personal launch stories! π
(Also β if you're curious about ORiON or want to support the launch, happy to keep you in the loop.)
Letβs do this π§‘

Hi Cole, huge congrats on getting ORiON ready for launch β thatβs no small feat π
I remember how overwhelming my first PH launch felt too⦠but honestly, it all comes down to engagement and prep.
A few tips that helped me:
Start conversations early. Comment on other launches, post about your journey before launch day β build genuine visibility.
Your first few hours matter most. Try to get support lined up from friends, communities, or Slack groups early in the day (especially before 12PM PST).
Answer every comment. People love seeing founders actively engaged.
Underrated tip: Schedule a few light/fun tweets or LinkedIn posts that day. Some people forget to drive traffic outside PH.
Excited to check out ORiON β automating the job hunt is such a timely and needed idea. Definitely keep me in the loop, Iβll be cheering you on π
@mindaugas_simkunas Thanks for the tips!
@cole_braun this sounds like a very cool tool cannot wait to check it out when you launch it next week. Keep up the good work! I will be launching my product in the next month or so on product hunt so really keen to follow your launch and learn - but also genuinely keen to try out your product as well :)
