Been here for ages, it was about time! :D
Hey PHunters!
I'm Maria-Cristina. I grew up in a family of creatives and entrepreneurs, always torn between artistic expression and the practical side of business, selling my artwork at local markets when I was barely a teenager.
My background is a bit unconventional - I studied film (BA), "practiced" as a screenwriter, and eventually found my way into marketing. That combination of storytelling and strategy has shaped how I approach everything in my career :)
After nearly a decade building content strategies for SaaS companies, I've seen firsthand the gap between what works and what most companies actually do with their content.
The problem I kept seeing:
Many companies want to create great content but don't have the resources for extensive SME interviews or hundred-hour research projects. They need something strategic and effective without the enterprise-level complexity or cost.
That's why I built Yahini:
We've trained our AI on over a decade of content strategy expertise - not to generate content, but to think like an experienced strategist. Yahini helps with:
• One-click content workbook generation
• Done-for-you keyword research with intelligent clustering
• Strategic content briefs customized by funnel stage
• Priority scoring to focus efforts on high-impact topics first
Unlike generic AI tools, Yahini doesn't analyze what's ranking or copy competitors. It builds you a custom strategy based on your specific business, audience, and goals.
One of our goals in Q2 is to launch here, on PH.
So I'm prepping myself for the challenge :D
I'd love to meet other founders and content marketers, share insights, and learn from each other.

@mia_k1, transitioning from film/screenwriting to marketing/AI-driven content strat is intriguing. Did you run into any issues training AI to think like an experienced strategist? I know from experience that sometimes what you expect to get from feeding content in is not always the output you expected. Best wishes for your upcoming launch on Product Hunt! Will be following.
@bradharrs hi Brad, thank you! :) Best wishes to you too!
The transition happened over a period of 10 years after finishing my degrees, haha. It definitely wasn't an overnight change. It was a gradual process, from working with agencies to building my own. Training Yahini wasn't just my and my co-founder's solo effort. We worked with collaborators and trained it based on thousands of data points , content strategies, frameworks for different niches, best practices, etc.
Thing is, training AI for strategy work is much more "technical" than training it to write content itself. Yahini focuses on strategic requirements and it doesn't write content, so there's not a lot of "Creativity" involved. For example, creating briefs and strategies involves more technical considerations like "what are the best practices for BOFU content?" or "should I mention my product first or last in the list?"
On the other hand, training for actual content writing requires tone of voice, thought leadership (which AI obviously doesn't have), and unique perspectives. Again, tons of issues with that as you'll never get the output you want, no matter how much prompt engineering you put into that (tons of technicalities of why that is, I can go more in depth into it if you'd like).
SO while there's a lot that goes into the training, it's actually more straightforward than what goes into producing AI content, since we're focusing on the strategy side, even though you need to put a lot more effort into the algorithms and prompts that get to know your business so you build strategies that you can actually put to use.
Hope that makes sense, I can ramble about this forever haha!
