I'm a publisher, writer, and accidental developer/indie-maker. I found myself constantly distracted when trying to write. No existing app had the right balance of minimalism and accountability I needed, so I decided to build Raven. Raven was bootstrapped solo using vanilla JavaScript and Node.js (with plenty of help from Claude, Stack Overflow, and patient developer friends). It has a simple philosophy: create consequences for procrastination. By day, I lead tech solutions at Right on the Line. By night, I run Imagnary House, a children's book publisher that's been shortlisted for the Bologna Prize for Best Children's Publishers multiple times.
