Aspiring Product Manager

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in a position in my life where I want to pivot form content creation to product management. I’ve done extensive research and I went from studying about UX Design, Project Management, and eventually landing on Product Management. I’m nervous going into this field at the age of 32. I have a masters in business management, a BA in communications, and am currently taking a course on Project Management at Udacity.com.

Does anyone have any idea of what it’ll take for me to land my first gig? I want a wake up call and need to understand if this is worth pursuing at my age. Any and all advice will be appreciated.
