AI for works - We built a shared AI workspace for teams who use AI every day

I’m Alex, founder of PoliteAI.

This project started from something pretty simple: our team was using ChatGPT a lot, and it quickly turned into a mess.

At our company, everyone was using AI in some way — writing copy, brainstorming features, or summarizing meetings. But:

• Everyone had their own OpenAI key

• Conversations were scattered across browsers and incognito tabs

• We couldn’t see what others had tried or learned

• No way to share prompts or results easily

• And security? Yeah… not ideal.

We realized there’s no proper way for teams to use AI together.

So we decided to build it.

PoliteAI is a workspace where teams can chat with different AI models — together.

• Switch between GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, etc. in the same conversation

• Shared chat history, searchable across models

• Invite teammates, assign roles, and track usage

• Bring your own API keys or use shared ones

• Built-in assistants for brainstorming, coding, documentation, etc.

It feels like Slack or Notion — but for AI.

We spent a lot of time making this quick, secure, and smooth.

• Built with Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis

• End-to-end encryption using Vault

• Workspaces hosted in the EU or US, depending on your team

• Docker + Cloudflare setup for low latency

• Stripe for simple per-user billing
