Ink Happened — The feminist Tattoo Community
The woman tattoo artists have no space in the tattoo industry or conventions, and usually they are underestimated in their own tattoo parlors. For this, we created a global tattoo community for woman artists, with a lot of content to make them visible.

Hi everyone! This is the “but” project, we always think about it in that way. You know, the world is more feminist day by day, but woman tattoo artists in the US and in Europe are not called to participate in tattoo conventions and, moreover, when someone enter a tattoo parlor and see a woman they usually think she is for making some piercing or in the reception. We have to change that by giving space as the tattoo artist they are, nothing more, nothing less. For this, we have created profile pages by countries and states in case of the US to promote their tattoos and their profile so they can have a website just for woman tattoo artists. The project has been presented to some of them and the reception by the woman tattoo professional is just awesome. We have around 80 women around the world with her profile with us, from the US to Vietnam passing through Spain, Chile or South Africa. We want to be active for men and women in some countries where tattooing is illegal (or barely legal) like Iran or South Korea and, for these countries, we want to reach women and men tattoo artists too, because we want to improve the industry there too. And, moreover, we have a news and blog section with content to inspire the community. So, we want to become the homepage for everyone in the world that loves tattoos and giving voice to the voiceless. So, there is no "I'm feminist, but", "I belive in gender equality, but" or "I belive we have to give voice to the voicelees, but". Let's move forward. What do you think about the idea?
