Alex Koo
@ivan_ilin planned Android app? or a shift to mobile-first?
Anas Turki

@max_orlov_ony ah cool โ€” what was available in 1.0 then? ;)

Max Orlov

@chrismessina Love your questions, Chris!

In 1.0, we started with the basics: a collections system, a Chrome extension, and a GPT-powered assistant with no customization. Even with this minimal setup, we gained early adopters who believed in the product and patiently waited for the promised features.

We also had a shared IKI community with a social library, allowing users to follow others and explore collective knowledge. Since then, weโ€™ve shifted towards more private and team-oriented workflows, significantly upgraded our LLM capabilities, and completely redesigned the knowledge management interface.

P.S. Maybe one day weโ€™ll add # for topics and @ for sources โ€” after all, history shows those symbols can change the game! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿš€

@max_orlov_ony I certainly see the value of adding support for #tags โ€” given they work anywhere you can type! And increasingly @ mentions are being used to invoke bots, AI Assistants, and doc sources (as you said), so that also makes sense.

Thanks for sharing your evolution โ€” great stuff!

Ivan Ilin

@max_orlov_ony @chrismessina Thank you for taking a look at what we're building, dear Chris!

Dimitris Effrosynidis

Reminds me of what Notion tried to do with second brain. Basically use your whole Notion resources and their LLMs to get info from it. Like a RAG on your personal digital files.
But I surely can see the differentiation in IKI.AI.
Congrats on the launch!

Ivan Ilin

@deffro Thank you for getting the vision, dear Dimitris! Yes, it's like Notion that was built to be LLM-first. BTW here is a great podcast about what Notion is envisioned like - a LEGO for software!

Dimitris Effrosynidis

Wow, thanks for the resource!

Victor Metelskiy

For me, iki.ai is like Cursor but for non-coding stuff, totally recommend.
Congrats on the launch!

Ivan Ilin

@victor_metelskiy That's quite accurate, dear Victor! Thank you for your support, man!

Victor Metelskiy

@ivan_ilin Thank you, Michael! ๐Ÿ˜…

Ivan Ilin

@victor_metelskiy IDK what happened to my brain when I was replying to you, bro!
We're well acquainted, that's some sort of short circuit

Victor Metelskiy

@ivan_ilin No offence taken :) I know what the launch days are like - a combination of sleep deprivation, caffeine and weeks of work prior to the launch do mysterious things to the brain ๐Ÿ˜…

Ivan Ilin

@victor_metelskiy Exactly, m8!

Christophe HK
Happy IKIer here. Can't thanks enough Ivan and the entire IKI team for this gem, their support, and their motivation for making IKI better and stronger day after day. THANKS ๐Ÿ™
Ivan Ilin

Ivan Ilin

@patrickloonstra Hi Patrick, thank you! Yep, we saved our efforts on this part =)

Ivan Ilin

@busmark_w_nika Thank you, dear Nika, luck is what we need when there is Fluently hunted by Garry Tan against us

Nika

You were doing great! :)

Anton Lebedev

Congrats on the second version! Like where youโ€™re heading so far!

Ivan Ilin

@samarsky Thank you, dear Anton! Listening to our user's feedback, we're luck to have a great community of early adopters!

Jonas Urbonas

This sounds like a great way to keep knowledge organized and easily accessible! Love the idea of having a central space where teams can store and retrieve information effortlessly. How does it handle different file formatsโ€”does it extract insights automatically, or do users need to structure the data first?

Ivan Ilin

@jonurbonas Thank you so much for sharing our vision, dear Jonas! IKI works automatically, and we'll add a sort of self-organising mechanism soon.

Artem Konovalov ๐Ÿ’Ž

Just what I needed! A one-stop-shop to organize my digital clutter and get some actual insights out of it. Can't wait to see how IKI.AI's advanced assistant superpowers my research workflow!

Ivan Ilin

@mattisssa Thank you, dear Artem! That's the goal, ineed!

Launching soon!

Ivan Ilin

@yuliya_fomina Thank you, dear Yuliya! Appreciate your support!

Kay Kwak
Launching soon!

The idea of having an LLM-based space for team collaboration is so innovative. The ability to upload various types of knowledge and then use the advanced LLM assistant for analysis and report generation seems incredibly useful. Iโ€™d love to hear more about how this system is used and what advantages it brings.

Ivan Ilin

@kay_arkain Thank you, dear Kay, I'd say having a really working product is even more innovative, as the idea is in the air, but materializing it takes some work & skill =)
