@nickmilo Long term user of Obsidian but frustrated with very ad-hoc, trial and error setup over time - love the look and features of the new Ideaverse - just need to set aside some time now to migrate my brain 😁.
Great to hear, @itsorlafitz! I know that trial and error setup all too well before LYT. Obsidian's clean slate is a gift and a curse there. This done-for-you setup really addresses that pain point nicely. Keep us posted how it goes migrating your notes (and hopefully not your brain). 😆
@itsorlafitz Totally understand that struggle, Orla. Obsidian's flexibility can be both powerful and challenging. Ideaverse Pro 2 is designed to give clarity and structure from day one, helping smooth out exactly those frustrations. Good luck on your "brain migration" journey ;)
Big congrats on the launch! The Architect and Gardener workflows are a really clever way to balance structure and creativity! How did you come up with this?
Thanks a lot for the support,@pranay12! Good luck on your upcoming launch as well!
With architect and gardener, one thing you'll learn about @nickmilo and Linking Your Thinking is that he loves a beautiful metaphor. We'd spoken a lot about top-down and bottom-up thinking in the past in our LYT Workshops, but applying these really made it relatable for many people.
My favorite part about them? You can be both, even if you don't always feel you are!
I'm naturally an architect, but I've learned to make more room to explore ideas in the moment rather than try to plan everything out in advance and my thinking, especially problem-solving, has always been better for it as I'm far less rigid than I had been and have more room to improvise on the spot to new surprises.
I hope you consider checking out Ideaverse Pro, Pranay - let me know what you think if you do!
@pranay12 Really appreciate it, Pranay. The first mention of the Architect and Gardener metaphor can only be traced back to George R.R. Martin, but it was seemingly well-established already by then. Credit Anne-Laure Le Cunff for transferring the idea over to PKM and how to relates to what type of note app would work well for someone. I noticed the metaphor matches two styles of thinking that we oscillate between and have advocated for that aspect of it. That's the short version!
I can't say enough good things about the LYT group and the products they are putting out for people to upgrade their thinking especially in this day and age. Their previous products like Flight School and Ideaverse 1.0 were already changing the game and now all the updates in Ideaverse 2.0, I can't wait to dive in.
To me LYT should be a required course in every school in the country as well as for people out in the field. The concepts and the tools have been transformational in my ability to process, organize and understand information especially at the speed the world is spitting it out. Thank you all and keep up the good work.
@darcy_norman Wow, Darcy - we all really appreciate this! Knowing how much you leaned into our past products, I can already tell Ideaverse 2.0 will be really impactful. I hope to hear more on what resonates the most for you in the months ahead and am thrilled about how much your PKM system supports you and your work. Thanks again, Darcy!
@darcy_norman Darcy, this means a lot coming from you. I really appreciate your vision of seeing the need for this more broadly. Always appreciate your support.
Once in a while, a product comes into your life and you are like "Wow, this is helpful". But every once in a while, there are few times in your life you go - I don't know if I could actually do this better ANY other way. Ideaverse PRO is one of those products - if you use Obsidian, you MUST go and get your copy now!
Obsidian was one of those products that I started using when it was just released. Then, I took the Building A Second Brain Program, and then I took Nick Milo's training courses. Then when Nick released his first version of his knowledge management system, I knew that I needed to try it out - having seen bits and pieces of his systems developing over time through his course "Linking Your Thinking" or LYT - and his initial knowledge management system "The Obsidian Flight School" and then Ideaverse... too now Ideaverse - PRO.
Look I do not know how to make this any clearer. This is a MUST have item if you use Obsidian. Nick has studied all things Obsidian since it was released. I can very easily, without hesitation, state again that if you use Obsidian, you MUST purchase "Ideaverse - PRO"; it will change your life and how you deal with Obsidian every single day.
Thanks to you guys, Nick and Team!! You are all appreciated, and your products are amazing!
@scott_wilson9 Scott, wow...your words mean a lot. It's fantastic to hear Ideaverse Pro has become a major part of your workflow. I'm honored to be a part of your journey. Your continued support and enthusiasm keep us inspired to keep innovating.
@nickmilo thanks so much for your nomination for the review... I truly appreciate it, and I truly appreciate being part of your LYT circle. Happy Easter to you both, as well as your families.
@scott_wilson9 Scott, I want to echo Nick here. So grateful for you taking the time to share and so emphatically supportive of LYT and Ideaverse Pro.
It's been a privilege supporting your PKM experience here in LYT and I look forward to seeing where it goes from here for you and how Ideaverse Pro 2 supports that along the way. Thanks again, Scott!
Wow, it is just amazing! Can’t wait to update my thinking system in Obsidian and fly even faster through my ideas, connect them and effortlessly build the things I want to see in life. This is a game changer for everyone thinker & creator – thanks Nick!
It's great seeing you here,@yogi_aria! It's been a privilege getting to connect with you in our recent LYT Workshop and beyond.
I'm also so overjoyed with how LYT has supported your shift from Apple Note to Obsidian and the meaning you're making now within those notes and can't wait to hear how Ideaverse Pro 2 supports you in that even further.
Here's to what's ahead, Aria! Thank you so much for the support. 🙏
@yogi_aria Thank you, Aria! Your enthusiasm always energizes me. Really excited to see how Ideaverse Pro 2 might affect your creative workflows and help you bring even more incredible things to life. Always cheering you on.
Thank you for providing this new great product! I truly enjoy working in my Ideaverse and use it as my private note making and thinking space. It not only makes the thinking and organization smooth and structured but, even more importantly, it makes it a lot of fun!
Good luck with the launch, I hope it gets the attention it deserves,
Thank you so much for the support,@aneube! It's so great to hear you've been having fun working in your Ideaverse. I couldn't agree more and, honestly, because it's a place with fun, joy, and curiosity, I'm drawn into it in a way I never was with things like Apple Notes or Evernote. It's a place I want to jump into during my day. ✍️
Thanks again for these kind words, Ales, and wishing you continued fun in your Ideaverse!
Keaton with the LYT Team here! I'll be around all day here in the replies answering questions and supporting the launch.
What excites me most about Ideaverse Pro 2 has been the new lessons included in it. We have over 3 hours of content and it's carefully curated both in a Circle course but also many videos inside of the Ideaverse Pro 2 Obsidian vault!
Just like our sister product Obsidian Flight School, we wanted to help users learn more about what's possible in Obsidian from within Obsidian and the results have been really impressive.
This also ensures that whether you're pretty new to Obsidian or have been using it since it's early days back in 2020, that you'll understand not just what Nick has built but why it will support your notemaking and how you can personalize it further to support how you think and how you work.
Again, I'll be here in the comment so go ahead and ask us anything, share how Ideaverse Pro or any of our LYT products have helped you, or just send some good vibes for this launch. Thank you all and I'll see you around! Here we go! 🚀
Truly excited and congratulations on your launch @nickmilo ! Your work has helped me organize my thoughts, create content faster, and enjoythe process along the way. I appreciate the playfulness, generosity and space this opens up for thinking and creating.
Huge thanks to @keatonkeaton and the LYT team for Ideaverse Pro 2. I’m excited to upgrade my vault and start building many new products, courses, and published notes. Ideaverse Pro 2 isn’t just a tool, it’s a creative playground. Highly recommend it and truly grateful for what you’ve built.
@frank_anaya_co Thanks so much, Frank. Tt's wonderful to hear how much Ideaverse Pro has supported your creativity and productivity. You've captured the spirit well: it doesn't have to just be a tool, it can be a playground. Can't wait to see what you create next. Grateful for your ongoing support and enthusiasm!
@frank_anaya_co Hey Frank, so appreciate you supporting the launch! I agree with you and Nick both - that element of play is so valuable, especially in nurturing and fostering creativity.
I've really enjoyed following how you've personalized your PKM space already and I hope Ideaverse Pro 2 provides some additional inspiration and features that are helpful for your work! Thanks again for sharing, Frank! 🙏
I am really excited to explore the new features in Ideaverse Pro 2. This update is a fantastic enhancement to what was already a really great product. The features I am looking forward to using the most? Wayfinders (a really useful feature of Flight School that I am glad is now in Ideaverse Pro 2), High-Context Views - to help pinpoint exactly what I am looking for, and the built-in Architect and Gardener Workflows to help me nurture my notes. Best of all, is the support provided by all the lessons and guides that make it easy to get the most out of this new version.
@joanne_jenkins Joanne, we really appreciate you taking the time to share! I'm super excited to hear more on how you leverage the high-context views and the Architect & Gardener Workflows as you continue developing yours system in the future. I know I was REALLY neglecting my inner gardener until I started making room for it in my PKM system. I hope you find the right balance for you in your workflow as well (and enjoy so many other lessons along the way too)!
I am already a user of Ideaverse Pro 1.5 and have been eagerly awaiting the 2.0 release. I can't believe the huge number of additions and improvements that have been made, and can't wait to put them all to use! Thanks to the LYT team for continuing to prduce such incredibly high-value stuff!!!
@philbweb Thanks for the support, Phil! We are super stoked by all of these huge updates in Ideaverse Pro 2. One thing that I wasn't quite prepared for until it all came together was how while it has more, it's also easier to work in. A little less nose, a little more focus. I really hope 2.0 unlocks things even further for you and hope to hear how you personalize it back in the LYT Workshop alumni community too! Thanks again for sharing.
@keatonkeaton Congrats to you all on the launch! 🕺🏼I just picked up Ideaverse Pro, and excited to jump in as I've been playing around with the basic version for the past month. I do have a question, as I've been trying to replicate the Soft Paper theme on my iPhone and iPad, but haven't been able to integrate the New York font. Any solutions for this? Would love to capture the whole experience everywhere I go.
@alexisfmoreno Hey Alexis, thanks a lot for your support both here in the launch and for picking up Ideaverse Pro 2!
Right now, Ideaverse Pro 2 has had to be desktop-first for some features as some community plugins and appearance settings just don't work quite the same way on Obsidian mobile and tablet.
However, as long as you're syncing all of the community plugins and appearance settings to your iOS device as well, I think I can fix this for you.
Go into Settings in the Obsidian app (the gear icon), then scroll down to Fontsource in the Community Plugins list. Scroll down inside those settings and delete Source Serif Pro and Space Grotesk by clicking the trash icon next to them. Then, hit the + button and re-add each of them by typing in their name, selecting them, and then toggling them on (the switch next to the trash button).
After that, the same fonts that appear in the desktop version of Ideaverse Pro also should show up on iOS for you. Why they weren't appearing at first is a quirk of syncing plugins (and loading fonts from plugins).
While this isn't New York font, Nick selected these personally and has been really thrilled with the overall aesthetic (and the cross-compatibility).
I hope this is helpful and feel free to check out the Ideaverse Pro FAQ if you have future questions - we really pride ourselves on supporting our products. 😃
@alexisfmoreno@keatonkeaton Keaton, this is an amazing comment. I hadn't done this myself even. But now that I have I can tell the difference and I love having my fonts back on mobile.
@keatonkeaton Thanks for spelling this out so clearly, Keaton! This issue was really bugging me when I was using the basic version and setup Soft Paper from Nick's YouTube video.
Now though, I can see that everything is actually syncing quite nicely for me. This might have to do with the way I've got my vaults saved. When I downloaded Obsidian for iOS, it set up a folder in iCloud for storing vaults, and this where I keep them all now.
Anyways, really appreciate you jumping on this. :)
@nickmilo Thanks for creating something so beautiful! It really makes me want to dive right in whenever I open my ideaverse.
@alexisfmoreno Happy to help, Alexis! We'll likely add this to the FAQ in order to help others get the most out of the design elements on mobile as well so your question helps everyone. 😃
It really makes me want to dive right in whenever I open my ideaverse.
That right there is such a valuable aspect. Just like in real life, when you're enjoying the space you're working in, it become a place you want to return to, you want to think and work in. I'm glad you've found yours with Ideaverse Pro 2!
Perfect timing for the vault spring clean over the Easter holidays! And certainly with some Easter eggs for the community. Congratulations to the whole team!
I learned a ton from Nick from his course and the Flight School. He's super knowledgeable in PKM -- and always takes time to help you out. I'm sure the Ideaverse Pro 2 will be an excellent addition to LYT's library of tools. Congrats on the launch @nickmilo ! Liana R
Really appreciate this share, @lianaromulo1! What's really exciting with Ideaverse Pro 2 is that Nick took more inspiration from the Flight School design and applied it here as well. They still each serve their unique role, but things like easy wayfinders to navigate (especially as our vaults have more and more notes to sift through) and being able to play lessons within the note itself to get hands on while learning have taken this version to the next level.
For those on the fence, if you took to the skies with Obsidian Flight School, flying around Ideaverse Pro 2 is a great place to explore next!
@lianaromulo1 Liana, thanks so much for your kind words. Always a pleasure supporting your PKM journey, and I wish you good times with your writing efforts :)
@noesgard Great to hear, Jane! I hope this continues to support your notemaking and be sure to share how you personalize it further in our LYT Workshop alumni community too! 😃 There's a lot of really great structuring in the new 2.0 update.
If I were limited to a single word to describe how I feel in response to every single thing Nick Milo and team do, it would be Inspired. But I need another word because it just doesn't make sense that I should still be so inspired after attending 8 month-long workshops, 3 bootcamp workshops, watching dozens of YouTube videos, reading weekly newsletters and behind the scenes newsletters, and buying Flight School, and Ideaverse Pro. Seriously, how can I still feel as excited and keen to jump into Ideaverse Pro 2 as I was three years ago when I saw my first Nick Milo video? It's because of the second word that describes everything Nick and team touch. Personalized. Our knowledge management systems are supposed to be personal, but Nick goes way beyond spouting that rhetoric. He and his team design for personal so that I can easily make Ideaverse Pro 2 mine. Ideaverse Pro 2 is my personal internet and, as the old Visa commercial said, that's priceless. 🙏
@karen_hume Karen, you hit the nail on the head. Ideaverse Pro 2 has a lot of great examples in it to help those at all comfort levels see what's possible, better understand notemaking (and so many more helpful concepts), and the included lessons help you understand the why of it and how to make it their own. Putting it all together, it goes from being his Ideaverse to your Ideaverse.
I hadn't thought about those old Visa commercials in years, but you're absolutely right. Having something built around how you think truly is priceless.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share, Karen.
@nickmilo and LYT team, congrats for this evolution of the most cohesive and complete systems inside Obsidian ready-to-use for anyone. Living inside the previous version has certainly laid a foundation for my own constellation of ideas.
@tomas_flores1 Really appreciate you supporting the launch, Tomás! I hope to hear what inspires you in this latest version, knowing 1.5 made such an impact. You'll be happy to hear Nick does a bit more with organizing visuals in this version, especially as an Excalidraw user such as yourself! ✍️
I hope you enjoy it and look forward to hearing more on what resonates in the future. Thanks again, Tomás!
This is a mind-blowing iterative improvement to Ideaverse Pro. Tremendously valuable. The Ideaverse system itself is simple, elegant, and powerful; full of frameworks, insights, concepts, and ideas. It molds itself to the way you think. But that's not the whole story, because not only is the PKM system outstanding, but so is the access to training videos and back-end support from responsive, smart, friendly folks who designed this stuff and live it every day.
@genevann Hey Gene, thanks so much for taking the time to share! The whole team remembers your kind words back in our Ideaverse Pro 1.0 launch and thrilled that you're diving into what Ideaverse 2 has to offer.
So well said with what you share here! I couldn't agree more that this update really was designed to be a space you can use and work in regularly. A place you can trust you know where things are because the included lessons take you through exactly how it works and why it might be useful for you.
I hope to hear more on how 2.0 supports your PKM work in the future, Gene. Until then, thanks for supporting the launch!
Nick, I've customized Ideaverse Lite to use fonts I prefer and to use "dark mode". I did that by following your instructions from a couple of your videos. I've been quite happy with the pleasant look & feel after making those customizations.
How is the support for font customization and for "dark mode" color scheme in Ideaverse Pro 2?
it has full support for both and, long term, we encourage you to personalize the vault and make it your own. In fact, the current fonts and aesthetic design was specifically built to easily switch out when you switch themes rather than stay persistent so you have full flexibility when using any other themes, dark/light modes, or other customizations.
However, what we do usually recommend is to keep it stock at first so it's easier to follow along with the new lessons which are recorded in Nick's more stock Soft Paper theme.
After that though, and as you get more comfortable in the vault though (or open up a blank-slate Ideaverse Zero 2 vault as a new foundation to build in), you're more than welcome to personalize it and make it your own.
I hope this is helpful and feel free to share a screenshot of how you've customized Ideaverse Lite - we're all for personalization!
Great to hear,@stuart_masters ! I couldn't agree more about it being easy and intuitive.
My favorite aspect with that has been the wayfinders, which, on top of making it easier to navigate around, make it easy to switch perspectives or important notes while still having others at your fingertips.
@stuart_masters Great to hear you're excited, Stuart. Ease-of-use was a big focus for this update, especially with the new Wayfinders. Looking forward to your thoughts once you dive deeper..
Obsidian Pro helped illuminate some underlying themes that influenced my creative processes, of which I was completely unaware. I can't wait to use Pro 2 and see how and what it might reveal about my processes.
So great to hear, @stephen_lambeth1! Keep us posted on what resonates the most with this update. I feel like this update really makes even more room for creativity and better thinking by reducing even more noise so you can do more.
@stephen_lambeth1 Thank you, Stephen. It's fascinating how linked notes uncover hidden patterns in our thinking. I'm eager to hear what this new version brings to your creative process.
@nickmilo So am I! Who would have thought poetry had influenced so much of how I see and process the world? Until I started unpacking the origins and assumptions behind my creative processes, I had no idea I knew, remembered, and was influenced by many poets. I now have a category for them right next to quotes in my vault.

Ideaverse Pro
@darcy_norman Wow, Darcy - we all really appreciate this! Knowing how much you leaned into our past products, I can already tell Ideaverse 2.0 will be really impactful. I hope to hear more on what resonates the most for you in the months ahead and am thrilled about how much your PKM system supports you and your work. Thanks again, Darcy!
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro

Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
It's great seeing you here,@yogi_aria! It's been a privilege getting to connect with you in our recent LYT Workshop and beyond.
I'm also so overjoyed with how LYT has supported your shift from Apple Note to Obsidian and the meaning you're making now within those notes and can't wait to hear how Ideaverse Pro 2 supports you in that even further.
Here's to what's ahead, Aria! Thank you so much for the support. 🙏
Ideaverse Pro
@yogi_aria Thank you, Aria! Your enthusiasm always energizes me. Really excited to see how Ideaverse Pro 2 might affect your creative workflows and help you bring even more incredible things to life. Always cheering you on.
Thank you for providing this new great product! I truly enjoy working in my Ideaverse and use it as my private note making and thinking space. It not only makes the thinking and organization smooth and structured but, even more importantly, it makes it a lot of fun!
Good luck with the launch, I hope it gets the attention it deserves,
Ales.
Ideaverse Pro
Thank you so much for the support,@aneube! It's so great to hear you've been having fun working in your Ideaverse. I couldn't agree more and, honestly, because it's a place with fun, joy, and curiosity, I'm drawn into it in a way I never was with things like Apple Notes or Evernote. It's a place I want to jump into during my day. ✍️
Thanks again for these kind words, Ales, and wishing you continued fun in your Ideaverse!
Ideaverse Pro
Hi all,
Keaton with the LYT Team here!
Ideaverse Pro
@frank_anaya_co Thanks so much, Frank. Tt's wonderful to hear how much Ideaverse Pro has supported your creativity and productivity. You've captured the spirit well: it doesn't have to just be a tool, it can be a playground. Can't wait to see what you create next. Grateful for your ongoing support and enthusiasm!
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
@alexisfmoreno @keatonkeaton Keaton, this is an amazing comment.
Ideaverse Pro
@alexisfmoreno Happy to help, Alexis! We'll likely add this to the FAQ in order to help others get the most out of the design elements on mobile as well so your question helps everyone. 😃
Ideaverse Pro
Thanks, as always,@crimcompliance for your continued support. I hope your notes continue to bloom and grow in this spring, Malaika! 🌱🌺🌼🌹
Ideaverse Pro
@crimcompliance There are a few Easter eggs in Ideaverse Pro 2. A couple special maps near the Dots area.
I learned a ton from Nick from his course and the Flight School. He's super knowledgeable in PKM -- and always takes time to help you out. I'm sure the Ideaverse Pro 2 will be an excellent addition to LYT's library of tools. Congrats on the launch @nickmilo ! Liana R
Ideaverse Pro
Really appreciate this share, @lianaromulo1! What's really exciting with Ideaverse Pro 2 is that Nick took more inspiration from the Flight School design and applied it here as well. They still each serve their unique role, but things like easy wayfinders to navigate (especially as our vaults have more and more notes to sift through) and being able to play lessons within the note itself to get hands on while learning have taken this version to the next level.
For those on the fence, if you took to the skies with Obsidian Flight School, flying around Ideaverse Pro 2 is a great place to explore next!
Thanks again for sharing, Liana!
Ideaverse Pro
@lianaromulo1 Liana, thanks so much for your kind words. Always a pleasure supporting your PKM journey, and I wish you good times with your writing efforts :)
This is s a great upgrade for my (and most other I would guess) PKM and I will happily work knowledge and ideas in this setup 👌🏻
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
Ideaverse Pro
@jenesuispasdave Hi Dave, great question!
it has full support for both and, long term, we encourage you to personalize the vault and make it your own.
Woohoo, I've been waiting for this - it's so much easier and more intuitive to use. Can't wait to get into it!
Ideaverse Pro
Great to hear,@stuart_masters ! I couldn't agree more about it being easy and intuitive.
My favorite aspect with that has been the wayfinders, which, on top of making it easier to navigate around, make it easy to switch perspectives or important notes while still having others at your fingertips.
Thanks again for the support, Stuart!
Ideaverse Pro
@stuart_masters Great to hear you're excited, Stuart. Ease-of-use was a big focus for this update, especially with the new Wayfinders. Looking forward to your thoughts once you dive deeper..
Obsidian Pro helped illuminate some underlying themes that influenced my creative processes, of which I was completely unaware. I can't wait to use Pro 2 and see how and what it might reveal about my processes.
Ideaverse Pro
So great to hear, @stephen_lambeth1! Keep us posted on what resonates the most with this update. I feel like this update really makes even more room for creativity and better thinking by reducing even more noise so you can do more.
@keatonkeaton I will
Ideaverse Pro
@stephen_lambeth1 Thank you, Stephen. It's fascinating how linked notes uncover hidden patterns in our thinking. I'm eager to hear what this new version brings to your creative process.
@nickmilo So am I! Who would have thought poetry had influenced so much of how I see and process the world? Until I started unpacking the origins and assumptions behind my creative processes, I had no idea I knew, remembered, and was influenced by many poets. I now have a category for them right next to quotes in my vault.
