Hey everyone!
Finally, after months of working evenings and weekends, Iconoir 7.0.0 is out!
This major release is introducing:
- The highly requested solid icons π₯ (a bunch of them to start).
- A clear naming convention.
For whom is already using Iconoir's libraries, such as React, React Native, Vue, etc., please carefully check the changelog, as a ton of icon names are changed to fit the new naming convention.
This release has been an enormous effort, but it will make Iconoir more complete and scalable for the future to come.
I hope you like it, and if you consider this free project valuable for you, consider supporting it and being part of it!
Very excited for this. Iβve been trying to get Framer to update their integration for months but no luck. What can we do to make this happen?! Halp π
I have been using Iconoir for the past 3 years in Peerlist.io and now as we're building a mobile app, it is the default choice. Thank you @lucaburgio for this!
Wow, Iconoir 7.0.0 sounds amazing! How did you come up with the idea of creating an open-source library of icons? What challenges did you face while developing it? I'm interested in hearing more about the technical side
@itsawaisyounas to make it simple π : I re-did the whole library 2 times in the past (before releasing it as open-source). The recently released naming convention is one of the latest results of a learning journey.
Holy moly! Just after logging in I stumbled upon this banger. Awesome stuff! Tbh radix has been limiting me a lot and this is my saviour. Keep up the great work π«‘
@lee_fischman Right now is just being proud of building something open and free like Iconoir. I'm considering a premium plan that could help really maintain the project, but no icon will go behind a paywall.
Congrats on the milestone, Iconoir 7.0.0! π The open-source icons library with 1500+ icons is a game-changer. How does it enhance the development experience for different platforms like React, React Native, and more? Upvoted and excited to check it out! π»
