it's really impressive how IBM are finally getting properly into the startup space. I remember learning about Watson back at computer science lessons, to think you can now utilise its huge supercomputer brain via an API shows what a cool age we live in. If anyone in Sweden wants to get their hands on this I'm running a hackahton with Bluemix on 4th October (http://www.hackup.se)

If you're into Bluemix, @DevpostHacks is running an online hackathon, [The Bluemixathon](http://bluemixathon.devpost.com/), about building apps to aid in disaster relief and recovery.

I've found uptime on Bluemix to be a mixed bag - much prefer Heroku at this moment.

@jakelprice We've been tracking uptime of every service and component and it has gotten much much better! Hope you give it another look.

IBM has migration instructions for moving your Parse app to Bluemix in light of Parse's recent sunsetting announcement: https://developer.ibm.com/cloudd...

Thanks for submitting this. I wonder why/how noone submitted Bleumix before. Looking forward to hearing from those who uses Bluemix services!

I was always so keen in trying Bluemix out, but the registration process is so long and cumbersome.
Jeoff Wilks
@ferparra The registration process is much improved since last year; you should be able to get through it in a minute or so. Give it a second look and let me know your feedback please. I'm very curious to know if there are specific things still bothering you. We continue to streamline it, with more exciting things to come: teaching an elephant to dance takes time. p.s. I may be biased, but I do think the free tier is generous compared to elsewhere, so registration has a good ROI.
