Hey ProductHunt, Firstly, thanks @hnshah for hunting us! The inspiration for Hugo struck while building another app. Like so many teams, we were massively distributed. Our team was partly remote, and my co-founder and I were out of the office all the time. I took pride in how much we talked to customers in person. But, when we’d return the debrief/team sync would break because we weren't in the same room or even on the same timezone. We wanted to move faster, and we wanted to build a transparent team, but we were utterly failing to connect meeting insights to the rest of the company. Well put together. The team is very committed to its mission and very keen to engage with the user to get there. This clearly shows in the user workflows and the obvious amounts of time spent on user experience and interface designing. It’s easy and efficient. Something not easily found on this particular space of minutes and meeting management. It’s actually quite a meaningful addition to your working tool set.

These guys have nailed two big problems - organizing notes for important meetings, context continuity, all without having to rotate through apps. Would be dope to have on iOS or mobile in general... Any plans for it? 👌🏼

I've been using Hugo for about a week and with some minor tweaks, it works perfect in the flow of work. I have not really explored the collaboration part, but this could eventually replace Evernote for me.

Huge fan of Hugo and the team behind it! It's amazing to have an app do a lot of the monotonous work (that is a byproduct of most meetings) for you - auto-categorization, super slick integrations, templates for best practices, and potentially my favorite thing... collaborative agendas! If you aren't using Hugo yet I can't recommend it enough - it's one of the few apps out there that will actually make your meetings feel like LESS work.

This product appears to automate a process that I have never seen anyone get right at any company. Meeting notes always get lost! Thank you for making this!

Hugo has identified a really interesting problem, and taken a novel approach to solve it. Great stuff here. (Plus, they have one of the best onboarding email flows I've ever seen.)

Love Hugo! It's been a total gamechanger for me in staying organized with all of my customer facing meetings and never wondering where I saved that copy of meeting notes. Easy sharing and collaboration internally and externally. Definitely recommend.

We've used Hugo at Drawboard for a couple years now and it's helped us unify our meeting notes process so much. All our sales meetings use Hugo templates, and all notes are posted to a Slack channel where all product, sales, marketing and engineering team members digest what's gone down in the meeting. This then allows us to grab parts of a meeting and send to ProductBoard for example, or to spin up a separate conversation on helping the prospect with their decision. Darren and Josh are so super helpful, responsive and very reactive with product updates. Love it!

Josh is very responsive and clearly interested in feedback and improving his product. This is rare compared with other companies and based on his communication I'm confident Hugo is going to get even better.

We have been using this for the past 2 months and it has helped us achieve much more efficiency in our meetings. It also makes it easier for us to find notes from past meetings. Great Product!

We've been using Hugo for over a month and it's been a great addition to manage meetings (known to be usually unproductive - especially with agenda and follow up) and works really well with our CRM, HubSpot. Met one of the Founders @darren_chait recently and seems like Hugo is run by a great bunch of people too!
