HubSpot Free Forms is an easy, intuitive, and customizable form builder that automatically enriches leads for better intelligence and sends leads to the HubSpot Free CRM (or whatever ESP you prefer).
At HubSpot, we believing in adding value (free products, content, training, etc.) before we try and extract it. This launch is in keeping with that belief. Thanks for all the love, everyone.
Great stuff @ari_plaut and @dharmesh!
Some comments:
- I miss an example or at least a video of the final form on your landing page (currently I don't know if this is an embed, is it a landing page with a form, is it a button with a form in a popup)
- Have you thought about features like: be able to tick off and you filter out spam signups, be able to tick off and you prevent submissions from free email providers (super useful for B2B)?
@dharmesh@jmarovt
Great questions.
1) With the free tools in Hubspot, you can create a form to embed on your website or implement a mobile-friendly pop up that appears based on scrolling, elapsed time, or exit intent. Or, if you already have forms on your site, we have a feature called "Collected Forms" that captures and enriches submissions from existing forms on your website.
2) Yep, thanks for bringing these to light. You can add reCaptcha to your HubSpot forms with one slick. Preventing submissions from free providers and custom domains of your choosing is a paid feature; it lives in Marketing Hub Starter, which is $50/month.
Appreciate your thoughtful questions --- let us know if you have any others!

@dharmesh@ari_plaut Ah gotcha. You might want to put a bit more info like this on the landing page - maybe in a form of an FAQ or something.
Good luck, love what you're doing!
Hey Product Hunt -
We’re excited to launch Free Forms in HubSpot CRM, another tool businesses can use to grow better.
Forms remain the dominant tool in a marketers toolbox for lead capture. The HubSpot forms tool makes it simple to create custom forms.
More than that, when a visitor submits a HubSpot form, useful info from across the web is automatically pulled in, including the company they work at, their job title, social profiles, and more. With the help of HubSpot’s enterprise-grade analytics engine, you’ll also see what pages they viewed before and after they filled out your form, so your team knows every bit of context.
Every submission syncs directly into HubSpot’s free CRM. No additional syncs or third-party triggers. No digging through an inbox. All your leads --- and every interaction you have with them --- in one place.
Don’t use HubSpot CRM? Automatically pass your leads to another ESP if you’d prefer.
My team and I would love for you to try it out. Feel free to ask us any questions and provide any feedback in the comments below.
@ari_plaut a bit late to this party but I love that you're making these available for free.
I added a form to a WordPress site and for the life of me, I can't find a way to edit the styling. Am I missing something or are these non customisable?
Thanks
@ari_plaut@radujudele radujudele - thanks for the comment, yes, we’re so excited to be able to offer our Forms tool also to free users!
Thanks for your feedback on styling and you’re right, the styling options are fairly limited for free users right now.
The good news is that bringing more flexibility around customising the look and feel of forms is the number one focus for our team at the moment. One of the things we're currently working on is introducing a number of themes to style your forms, that will also be able to inherit your websites branding colours. If you'd like to be involved in the early beta testing of this feature I’ll reach out to you in a few weeks with more details.
I've been a Hubspot user for 4 years. They definitely know inbound and content marketing. Actually, they invented it. From a light product it has become a fully featured marketing automation suite that is powerful while easy to use. Congrats to the product team, you make our jobs easier!
Very excited about this. It's easy to use and of course integrates w/ HubSpot. I'm increasingly shifting from a whole suite of 3rd party tools to doing everything in HubSpot. Last week I shifted off of Calendly to the free HubSpot "meetings" tool and this week I'm shifting to HubSpot for form building. Can't wait to see what comes out next (for free)!

I used Hubspot forms on a company blog to build up our newsletter list.
I also used forms on landing pages to register sign ups for Webinars and other events.
Fantastic that it integrated with our CRM, helping us build up a richer picture of our audience and customers.
Pros:Easy to use drag & drop CMS
Cons:Would have liked more flexibility with styling e.g. setting field labels outside of the field for accessibility. (it's been a while though)
