Hoop connects to tools like Google Meet, Zoom, and Slack and uses AI to grab all your tasks. One consolidated list that follows you from meeting to Slack channel to meeting. Boom!
Thanks so much for sharing @rajiv_ayyangar!
Hey ProductHunt! I'm Stella, one of the co-founders of Hoop. After two years and thousands of conversations, we're excited to share Hoop with you and get your feedback.
My co-founders and I were early executives at Trello. When we saw all you could do with generative AI we asked ourselves, "What could you do differently to help people stay on top of everything they have to do that you couldn't do when we were building Trello?"
The answer was a project management system that could do most of the managing by itself.
So that's what we built! Here's how it currently works and our vision:
π Give Hoop access to your work Google calendar, and Hoop will automatically capture tasks from meetings. You don't need to prompt or say anything: Hoop just knows the tasks, and who they are assigned to.
βπΎ Connect Slack and Hoop captures tasks across all your channels and messages. No more marking messages as unread to come back to them later. Hoop knows your tasks and puts them in one spot so you never miss anything.
π§ Hoop also works with email. Just cc Hoop or set up forwarding rules and Hoop will scan emails for tasks.
Everything is in one spot with tons of context like meeting transcripts, topic and meeting summaries, auto-attached links and more.
Beyond capturing tasks, Hoop also helps you prioritize and do the work that matters most. Once you have some tasks in your "Incoming" list, Hoop will suggest priorities. When you've confirmed your priorities, Hoop will just know and automatically label matching incoming tasks as "Important."
π§ You can set Hoop to "Focus Mode" where only tasks labeled as "Important" will show up, giving you a clean view of what to work on next.
Hoop automatically captures and aggregates tasks across tools, creating a unified task list. Then Hoop helps you focus on what's most important. Our view is that the future of task management is one where you spend way less time on managing work, and more time on the important work that moves priorities forward.
Give Hoop a try and let us know what you think! Use code "PH15" for $15 off your first month.
Huge congrats @startupstella on this launch! Such a cool product and an important problem this is solving, excited to try it out! Good luck with launch! :)

I'm so excited to see Hoop launch today! The team that built this is incredibly thoughtful about how they build their product, what it should and shouldn't do. This is not your average launch - this is a really built, actually immediately useful tool to help cut through the noise.
I love the 'take the busy out of your work' line in the video. My current task management is really messy because it's just a random bunch of notes in notion plus I mark as unread some emails until I'm ready to do them, which kind of works, but then I often miss a bunch of stuff in slack and discord. It's useful to see everything in one place where I can prioritize them and the AI will only get better at second guessing what I find important. Giving it a try now will see how it works for a week.
CONGRATS Stella! Really fascinated by the idea of leveraging AI to enhance team productivity and making sure tasks don't fall through the cracks. Really excited to try this out and boost our team's productivity!
Congrats on the launch, @startupstella, @justin_gallagher & team! I've been impressed with the story of how you've listened to customers, found relevant feedback and built a great product to help with the mental overhead of keeping track of everything folks need to do! Best of luck!
Oh this is pretty cool. Instead of adding tasks to my Slack list/remind me later/save list and grabbing tasks from meetings, this really help streamline things. Also often, I just wish I talk to an AI that grabs task I want it to remind me, and remind me at the right time.
I find the tool's ability to help you label task priority and set focus for the week (and turn on focus mode) very cool. Too often we get distracted by too many tasks. I have 12 reminders in Slack, and it's hard to grasp things in there easily.
Congrats on the launch @startupstella and team!
I've been trying out Hoop for several weeks. It's pretty magical. 'm an obsessed to-list maker and previously, I spent a lot of time entering in tasks into Todoist and setting priorities and due dates. Hoop is magical because it does all of this automatically. It saves a ton of time. I was skeptical how accurate it could be, but I've laughed out loud a couple of times with how impressed I was. It reminded me of the first time I was in a self driving car. No doubt, there is some grooming needed for the automatic tasks, but it pales in comparison to entering everything manually. I'd love to see more team features so that I can start using this to manage my team. Thanks Hoop people (Hoopsters? Hoopers?).
@jheltzer Glad to hear it's working well for you Jason. I know we had some 'over eager' tasks especially in the beginning, I remember something in the early days about creating a task to help your son with a blog post. Thanks for sticking with us!
@startupstella congrats on launching hoop, I'm excited to try out. Curious if there were any surprising user insights as you were doing user research that made their way into specific product features?
One example i noticed in onboarding was it looks like it shows a preview of a zoom gallery screen for tasks that originate in zoom. So curious to see how it works for my calls today
@matthartman Yes! It was a LOT of user research. for example, the biggest thing is that most people don't really want transcripts or video clips from meetings: they just care about "what do I need to do?" and as they go from meeting to meeting, that can get lost. That's really the premise behind Hoop: regardless of task source, what are the things that I need to work on? And how can I manage them more efficiently without writing things down, remembering anything, or keeping track of items across a million tools and meetings. LMK what you think!
Hoop! Literally been following this company for years now and I'm so glad to see it finally launch. Big congrats to Stella and the team who have been heads down building this.
