Hitman: Absolution — Become an Assassin. New Hitman game for the Mac.

I love Hitman. I spent hours replaying the same missions in the first one, "solving" them in different ways. Square-Enix recently released a mobile Hitman game that's much different than the traditional gameplay. I think @dtrinh tipped me off to it on Twitter.

@adamslieb - I haven't played it yet but checked out the promo video. Reminds me a little of old school Metal Gear Solid + Final Fantasy Tactics.

@rrhoover have you played the Hitman Go? It is a really different kind of game. Definitely fun, I like the creativity and interest in trying something new from a big/old company.

It is too bad they don't offer a few levels for free. $5 is relatively steep these days. They just do a nice job with the art and board game mechanics, but still playing on the core Hitman theme. It is also one of the few "good" mobile games you can play offline, if you're ever on a plane or something I'd recommend it.

The Suit and Gun Collection contains four unique weapons and four stylish disguises for use in “Contracts”, including the damage-resistant High Tech Suit and Adam Jensen’s combat armor from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. thanks for the share @jtriest. i'm a HUGE hitman fan, but i've got a mac so it's harder to play. i tackled the first 2/3 of this game booting windows on my mac, but that got old jumping between OS's. i'll have to grab this :) oh, and my 2 cents on hitman: go. awesome style, and beautifully designed, but not quite as fun as it could have been. i still played it through though, and enjoyed it.

Is this mac version different from the most recent console version?

still curios if this is a different game from the last xbox 360 release? anyone know?
