🚀 Exciting News! Introducing glee: Dev-friendly Blogging Setup! 🚀
Hey, Product Hunt community, 👋
We're thrilled to introduce glee, a powerful tool that seamlessly publishes markdown files into Ghost(https://ghost.org/) blog posts ✒️. With glee, you can create and update ghost blogs. Since glee operates on plain markdown files, your blog posts are now git-friendly, allowing for easy collaboration.
Benefits 🌟
- Publish markdown files into the Ghost blog post
- Install and configure with minimal effort
- Multiple image backends (AWS S3, ghost)
- Create and update posts with a single command
- Support for syntax highlighting and Table of Contents
- Collaborate with content writers in your team
- 100% Free and Open Source Software
Abandon the Ghost Web Editor and adopt markdown files using glee.
Manage your content history and collaborate with writers 👥 in your team using a version control system like git.

We are excited to see your feedback and suggestions 🙌
Finally seeing some new breeze, what a nice touch amidst endless bombardment of AI SaaS over the past few months. Will definitely give this a test drive to compare how it differs from using Docusaurus as my simple blog for certain topics.
Kudos Glee team for the launch and good luck!
Just came across glee - turning markdowns to Ghost blog posts? Genius. And how does glee deal with complex Ghost features?
[BTW, feeling a tad nervous about our launch tomorrow, seeing such cool tools today :)]
Wishing you great results with the launch!
@mocarg, thank you. The markdown file for "glee" has two sections: the YAML and the content part. Users can configure Ghost blog features, such as feature articles, adding authors, excerpts, tags, etc. "glee" communicates with the Ghost blog platform using the Ghost Admin API. It will handle all the processes involved in writing a blog using markdown.
All the best for your product launch. 🌟
Congratulations Team Glee on your launch on Producthunt! The platform you've created is truly a game-changer for technical teams! One suggestion I have is to consider integrating a feature that allows for real-time co-authoring or editing with a cloud-based version control system. This could streamline the blogging process even more, making it seamless for teams to collaborate and ship amazing content! Keep up the great work!
@manmohit, thank you for the suggestion. We will explore options to enhance glee with cloud-based real-time collaboration features. Your input is much appreciated!
It seems there might be a slight confusion. "Glee" typically refers to a feeling of great joy or happiness. However, in a technical context, "glee" could potentially be used to describe a development-friendly blogging setup.
In this context, a "glee" blogging setup would likely imply a system that is designed to cater specifically to developers, making it easy and efficient for them to create and manage their blogs. This might include features such as seamless integration with development tools, support for various coding languages, version control, and perhaps a clean and intuitive user interface tailored to the needs of developers.
Such a setup would likely prioritize functionalities that streamline the process of creating and maintaining a blog for individuals with a technical background. It could also potentially offer customization options and support for various content formats that are particularly relevant to the developer community.
Overall, a "glee" blogging setup in the technical sense would be characterized by its user-friendliness and efficiency for developers, making it a joyful experience for them to share their insights and knowledge through a blog.
