Hey Product Hunt!
Did you know that nearly 200 products launched on Product Hunt this October are categorized as Productivity products? Clearly, productivity is one of the most popular topics around here and in the tech space in general.
The thing is, there is no productivity without happiness. Many studies show that happier people are significantly more productive - at work and at life. Research published last year by the University of Warwick found that participants that were shown funny videos or treated to free chocolate were 12% more productive at work.
All of this to say - if you want to be more productive, start practicing your happiness. With Happy Things, you can:
✨ Practice simple, science-based activities proven to increase happiness
✨ Get daily reminders to help you stay motivated
✨ Track your progress with happiness check-ins
✨ Invest less than 10 minutes a day to improve your well-being
And the best part is - our product works! Our team recently ran a deep data analysis and found that our users report an increase of 17.5% in their in-app happiness score after 1 month of using the app and a 57.2% increase over seven months.

@n_russell Thanks! We're working on the Android version :)
The free trial provides full access to the app: 100+ daily activities, including examples and explanations, a journaling tool, progress tracking, weekly happiness check-ins and more.
@adi_lavi Sure!
Positive psychology, or what's called "the science of happiness" is a field in psychology that has greatly developed over the past 15-20 years. It is basically the scientific study of what makes life most worth living, and how every person can increase their happiness.
We turn this science into practice: bite-size happiness practices; simple, diverse, daily activities that can easily fit into your busy life to increase your happiness and wellbeing ✨
@emma_parmet Thanks!
We use an in-app happiness questionnaire, which is a version of The Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) questionnaire: the most widely and frequently used scale to assess positive and negative affect.
Basically, you can look at it as a benchmark of how you've been feeling, and it can help you understand your current state and track how the different activities (or: Happy Things) you do affect you and your emotions.
✨
@udi_rotenberg well, ideally you would use the app every day :)
But we totally understand that it can be hard to commit to daily practice (even though the activities are super short and simple!).
We've seen that users who practice 3 times a week or more see the best results and report feeling happier!
