Hey folks π,
Yura and Nik here, we are the makers of Greenlight.
π We decided to build Greenlight because we believe that in the future every job will be global - and this will radically transform hiring. As soon as the borders no longer matter, employers get access to a x1000 bigger talent pool and every person gets x1000 more opportunities. As a result, recruitment will no longer be the #1 pain for businesses, and looking for your next job will no longer be terrifying.
Greenlight is our first step in this direction.
Here is how it works:
Most of the people you would hire never apply to your job vacancy. The main reason is that top talent is seldom on an active job hunt - and this is as true for international remote workers as it is for the people in your zip code.
Businesses that hire internationally use a whole bunch of workarounds to address this problem, such as contract-to-hire through Upwork or mass-messaging at LinkedIn. But since none of these tools has been specifically designed for headhunting, most of the time is wasted on chasing dead ends. For example, most potentially interested candidates would never post on Linkedin that they are open to new opportunities - because just like everyone else, their current employer is going to see this.
π₯·π½ Greenlight allows engineers that are interested in potential remote job opportunities create anonymous profiles - so they can safely signal their interest without risking their relationship with their current employer.
As an employer, after posting a job you immediately get access to the anonymized CV previews. The candidates will then share their full CVs upon your request.
All you pay is a flat success fee of $5,000 upon closing a hire ($4,000 if you use ProductHunt code above π).
Give it a try - and let us know your thoughts!
